A few weeks passed after that, and Alva tried not to think about what had happened in Jaxon's family house that day. She kept thinking about it though and couldn't help wondering why she had the flash.

She hadn't had it since she visited her therapist last in Texas ten years ago, and then she had just been a young girl trying to figure out what had happened to her one night. Her family had been with her and each session had just produced this particular flash, making her conclude that she could never get that part of her memory again.

So, why was it coming back now and in a more detailed form?

Could it be that the memory was trying to come to the surface now that she was older, or could it have been triggered by the picture?

She attempted to think but couldn't figure it out, she sighed.

“Hey!”

She was startled awake from her thoughts and looked at Jessie who was beside her decorating a cake, “What?”

“Stop sighing for god's sake, I'm trying to put this particular decoration on the cake
