Chapter 11

Author’s POV

“What happened Chase? What did you say to her?” John asked as soon as Cara and Sapphire left the classroom.

“I asked her to be my girlfriend” Chase replied while sitting on one of the chairs in class.

“That we already saw. You changed your plan and asked her to pretend to be your girlfriend instead, right?” John asked.

Chase closed his eyes and rubbed his aching temple with his fingers while saying, “No.. I asked her to be my real girlfriend. I asked her to date me for real”.

And it shocked both John and George.

“What? What… did you do?” it was George this time.

“I asked her if she would like to be my girlfriend for real” Chase replied now opening his eyes.

“What did she say?” asked John.

“She needs time to think about it” Chase replied.

“You didn’t threaten her right?” George asked in unsure tone.

Chase glared at his friend with look on his face which says, ‘Are you serious?’

“Sorry, I know you would never do that. But I just couldn’t stop myself from asking”
