CHAPTER 13

Arthur walked into the mansion dead tired. He had had to leave very early for a business meeting that had lasted for long. After that, he had to go down to the construction site of the apartments he was developing. He had recently begun investing in real estate and as much as it took a lot of raw cash from him, he believed it was a great investment.

But despite the tiredness he felt, all he wanted to do was go in and sink into Bella. She was his after all and he didn't have any ill feelings toward making love to her now that she had signed the contract. Maybe he was going to keep her to himself for a longer time. His weary face curved into a smile as he ascended the stairs leading to his bedroom.

“Mr. Lorenzo.” Mrs. Jenkins bellowed from beneath the stairs.

“Good evening Mrs. Jenkins.” Arthur greeted her with a tired smile.

“I am so sorry for my manners. Good evening Mr. Lorenzo. I just wanted to tell you that the young lady was so excited to receive the credit card from you just b
