I opened my eyes slowly, taking in my surroundings. I was now at home on the bed and Atlas was nowhere to be found.

I pushed up from the bed, expecting it to hurt but I was surprised when the pain doesn't come.

Moving my body around, I realized that I had been healed by my wolf.

“Nafira, Why did you heal me?" I hissed at her angrily. I had specifically told her not to heal me yet. Now what would I tell Atlas after he discovers that I healed fast? What excuse do I have?

To him I was just a human.

I wanted to heal naturally no matter how long it takes or maybe have her heal me slowly on a daily, not to heal me all at once.

“You would have died if I didn't. I didn't have a choice. Your body was hurt too badly and you had some internal bleedings, if I didn't then–” she started to explain but I cut her off.

“Then they would have taken me to a hospital and I would have gotten treated. Why did you have to… “
