Suddenly, I feel short of breath as I huff and try to take deep breaths to compose myself.Putting my hand over my chest, I take a seat on one of the benches in the locker room and stare at the floor with a puzzled look.It was never like this with Rigel. I have had no issue or problem skating with him, why was Shane different? Why can't I bear to be in the same space as him? Even his scent irks me and that’s a much bigger problem since I can't bear to stay in the same room as him. Bella is going to be so furious and Miss Xenia won't like the idea of a new partner. Activities at the stadium have been put to an end for the time being and security has been tight yet the murderer has not been found. At this point, the police can just give up their search because, despite the horrendous murder, no trace of the murderer has been found. It's a Thursday and the University has set up a camping trip in the woods for the students. After a lot of henpecking from Raven, I thought it would be fun to do something else and right now, we are at the camping site after driving for almost three hours.“Are you sure these words are not plagued with bestial animals?” One of the students voices out their complaint, looking at the tall trees with a look of skepticism and dread in her eyes.“I assure you, these words are unassailable. Then, the wolf stops abruptly and turns to look at us with his yellowish eyes that suddenly seem human when he isn't trying to kill something. Then it moves its head toward the road.“Thank you,” Raven says, going ahead. I stand there staring at the wolf and it watches me too with a tilt of his head. {AHVI’S POINT OF VIEW}It is swarthy and the ground is water-soaked underneath my feet as I run deeper into the green forest— behind me is the sound of resonant, low growls that bring a cry of fear out of my throat. I run as fast as my legs can carry me but I don't get far; suddenly my waist is grasped roughly and I whip my head back to come face to face with a pair of red, animalistic eyes and sharp fangs.
