The icy breeze blown through the window made the room chilly. The downpour kept splashing outside and raindrops would occasionally get inside the room when the gust blew a little stronger. It was the best time to twirl on the soft bed while covered with a thick sheet. The temperature was low, the wind was blowing and the sound of rain was like a lullaby that could make most people fall asleep in no time. It was such a pleasant rainy night without the disturbing thunder and lightning strikes…just the tender yet heavy rain.

Audrey locked the door and faced the man who was still clueless about her surprising actions. She stared at him with a helpless expression before taking a deep sigh. “I almost did it.” Her voice was soft but she spoke every word with emphasis.
