“Ah-ouch! Hey, you can’t treat me like this. If you didn’t slam the door in my face, we won’t be in this tight position. You should have tried to coax her more,” Shane muttered in between whimpers while Audrey was pressing an ice pack on his nose to reduce the swelling. She was left with no choice but to take responsibility for what she did. Especially when Shane’s manager firmly told them to come even it means getting late.

The heat she felt inside her body moderately subsided. Audrey felt relieved as the cold temperature slowly wrapped around her body. The dizziness she had early on somehow faded away also. The comfort she had painted a carefree smile on her face, and so she closed her eyes. Besides, her vision was still blurry, and she thought it would be better to get some rest first.
