Rubbing my chest, I realize it could be none other than my brother, but I could not speculate so quickly. It would take a witch to procure the spell and for however long this spell had been upon me, I wasn’t sure.
Was it even a spell that blocked the mate bond or another spell entirely? I growled outwardly, causing several elves to jump in their seats. Creed I couldn’t sleep. I was too enthralled with my mate. She was sleeping peacefully, her body completely limp as the soft snores left her pouty lips. Her eyes twitched as she dreamed. My hand constantly stroking my mark, now with a healed scar and a lightly colored dragon’s head in the middle. Dragons were one of the few shifters known to leave a tattoo like head that matched that of our dragon. I had only seen it on my mother a few times. It was very light, but Odessa’s seem to grow darker and darker by the hour. In fact, several dragons in the tribe had dark marks. Odessa We didn't wake up until the suns were high the next day. Creed and I defiantly missed breakfast, and I was going on day six without eating. My stomach growled angrily, only for Creed to rumble his chest in jest. The food from the night before had spoiled, so our best bet was to make our way down our tree cottage and find some food.
