Chapter 15 Physical Contact

Edith was sitting cross-legged on the floor of the room. In front of her, Emma was muttering and their hands were intertwined with each other.

"Take a deep breath and exhale slowly. I want you to concentrate on the beautiful memory of your parents!" Edith followed Emma's direction. She recalled the moment when she was with her parents.

Her memory goes back to when she was five years old. Little Edith was running on the playground with her father.

"Edith, look at there is a butterfly flying over your head, honey!"

"Where is it daddy? Wow, it's so beautiful! Hey, where are you going? don't go!"

With her small steps, Edith ran to follow the butterfly flying away. She just kept running until she didn't see any stones blocking her steps.

"Edith, watch out!"

But too late, little Edith had already fallen and hit her head on the iron bar with a pointed tip. The side of her head hit the pointed end and caused a wound. Little Edith felt a pain in her head. She cried and the father rushed
