Eva was taken aback when she realized how empty her ten fingers looked. That was when she realized that she had lost a ring.

“Oh, it’s mine! I did lose a ring. I wouldn’t have realized it if you hadn’t informed me.”

She had bought that wedding ring for her own convenience.

It was mainly to make the opposite sex think that she was married and to avoid unnecessary trouble.

Smiling, the hotel manager replied, “Do drop by if it's convenient for you. You can just approach the counter at the lobby and Mr. Langley will bring the ring down to you personally.”

“Alright. Thank you. I’ll return to the hotel right now.”

Eva quickly made a quick turn with her steering wheel after hanging up and drove back to the hotel.
