New challenge

I sat down with Annel, picking and separating the bags of ancient stones according to their sizes which we were asked by Beta Harvey to sperate, gisting and laughing together as we continued.

Annel gave a swift pause, ignoring my question, and stared at me suspiciously. "Dreah…?" She called out to me, glaring at me from the side of her eyes.

"What's that?"

"Do you have something to tell me? You look so excited this afternoon." What's on your mind?" Annel asked.

I hesitated for a moment before continuing. "I'm not sure how to put this, but my relationship with Alpha Liams has changed greatly."

Annel raised her eyebrows in surprise. "Changed? In what way, if I may ask?"

I took a deep breath. "Last night, Alpha Liams marked me as his mate. He claimed me, and now I feel like I truly belong to him. Fully. Here, the mark of true love." I turned my head to my side, showing her the particular position.

Annel gasped. "Oh my goddess, Dresh! That's amazing! I'm so happy for you!"

I grinn
