The Beat Again

"How many people are in there?" Lucas sat relaxing in his limousine; he lit his second cigarette. Every smoke he exhaled showed how sick he was of this activity.

In the past, Lucas had bad memories that led him to meet the man. The enemy that until this moment bothered him. They searched for each other silently, but after ten years, neither had completed it.

"There are ten people!" Jake answered. He had a seam mark on his forehead; his body was more muscular than any of Lucas's men. Even so, he was the most agile for battle and was the leader in matters like this.

"You know how much drugs they carry?"

"There are two trucks back there; they will switch to the cruise ship after they are done with the transaction."

Lucas smiled faintly; the old-fashioned way was still carried out. "I don't want to dirty my hands, but what that bastard did disgusts me!" he grumbled.
