Chapter 11: Initiation

Everyone was taken aback when they saw the head rolling on the table. They looked at me with bewilderment. I expected to see the dread in their eyes as a result of the powerful message I delivered, but instead, they all stood up and clapped. Their expressions were filled with admiration and joy. My father came over to me and rubbed my shoulder. He has a proud smile on his face as he looks at me.

My grandfather was also smiling as he stepped forward and said, "Are you now convinced that my grandson is capable of leading all of us?" He scanned his eyes for each member in the meeting room.

"Yes. He passed the initiation!" one of the organization's associates said.

The color drained from my face as I couldn't fathom what was going on. "Did I hear correctly? I assumed I had completed the initiation a long time ago. What on earth is he babbling about?" I told myself.

"Did you hear that, my boy? You've made quite an impression on our associates," my grandfather said proudly.
