Daffodil suddenly stiffened as she heard Lexus’ words. “Proclaim and mark me? For what?” she exclaimed.
Lexus looked at her with a spark in his eyes. “I will mark you and you will mark me. If that happens, no other wolf will even try to think of having you or having me, because they knew that we already belong to each other.”
“Crazy, I belong to no one!” she hissed at him but he was not even moved at all. His smile never even faded.
“Finding your mate indeed will make you crazy especially if we have our mate bond already,” he said while his smile was growing wide.
“I don’t want to hear that mate thing anymore. Let me go, I wanted to rest.” Daffodil once again snarled at him.
But he just looked at her seriously this time. “Let me accompany you to your studio unit and let me stay there and be with you until your flight back to your country. You need to be guarded as I am sure; the other pack already knew that the possible missing golden she-wolf is just around here.”
“Oh goodness, that is not necessary.” Daffodil now is feeling frantic. She remembered suddenly what her Dad and Mom told her. Now she understands.
“Please, I will not harm you; I am here to protect you.” His voice was pleading and the look in his eyes now makes her wonder why he could affect her in such a way that she could not resist him.
“Why should I trust you?” she retorted.
Lexus put his hands on her shoulders “Because I am your mate and my wolf can feel your wolf. She is begging for you to listen to her, to connect with her for years now.”
“I could not understand this anymore,” she whispered.
“Just trust me Sweetheart. You are not safe in this place; I can smell wolf blood around,” he whispered back.
Suddenly Daffodil felt so foolish when she could not control herself to nod at him in submission.
II
Lexus accompanied Daffodil in going back to her booked garden studio unit in the resort. In his hand is his bag of his clothes and other things.
He put his right arm around her shoulders protectively as they walked going to Daffodil’s place. She could not remove his arm on her shoulders, for in her mind, she could not offend him at this moment.
When they reached Daffodil’s booked studio room, they hurriedly went inside; they did not notice two blazing eyes looking at them from afar. Those eyes reveal one thing … pure jealousy.
Inside the studio room, Daffodil felt so awkward. This is the first time in her life that a man is with her inside her room. What more if they are already sleeping; she is sure that she will not be able to sleep peacefully.
Without her knowing it, Lexus could connect to her mind already. Daffodil’s wolf at the onset already tried to connect with Lexus’ wolf, Aryas. She even introduced herself as Arcel. With that, Lexus could somehow read Daffodil’s mind, which is too open now, without her knowing it.
“Am I the first man to be with you inside a room alone, Daffodil?” he suddenly asked, a smile curving his lips.
“I don’t need to reply to that Lexus. You may take the couch while I take my bed in here.” She replied, frowning.
“No problem, I could even sleep on the floor.”
“You know what, I can’t believe it that my supposed holiday would end up like this. Am I having an instant bodyguard now?” she sighed.
He laughed merrily. “I am darn so happy to be your bodyguard Sweetheart.”
“Oh gosh, what am I into? I should have just listened to Mom and Dad to stay in Sydney, Australia,” she sighed again.
Lexus heard what she said and he just gave her a happy grin. “Fate brought you here because this is where you are going to meet your future; you just met him a couple of hours ago.”
“I have not seen my future yet nor my fate,” she retorted.
“You just did Sweetheart and you cannot deny that to me all throughout,” he said, very confident of himself and Daffodil somehow admired him for being so brave and firm.
In her place, no man could do whatever Lexus is doing now to her. Men are aloof with her; or she may say afraid of her. It was only Dixon who had the guts to befriend her and came closer to her, maybe because their parents are friends.
And speaking of Dixon, he is calling him now in her mobile phone. Her phone is ringing, with Dixon’s name flashing on its screen.
“Oh, hi Dixon,” she answered happily when she heard Dixon’s hello on the other line.
Suddenly, Lexus' eyes squinted.
“Uhumm, I, I am enjoying Sydney; Yes I am here.”
Lexus ears are burning with jealousy, hearing her joyfully speak with a man on the phone. All of a sudden, he heard a low growl nearby, which made him automatically stood-up.
I Lexus approached Daffodil and motioned to her to keep quiet. “Stay quiet and just sit on the bed, I heard a growl outside,” he murmured to her. Daffodil was stiffened. Fears suddenly engulfed all her senses. She cuts Dixon’s call and sits still as he told her so. Lightly, Lexus walked near the glass door and locked it gently. He further pulled the curtains to cover the glass door fully. He sat beside Daffodil and strengthened all his senses. After a while they heard again that soft growl, somewhat nearby the sliding door. Daffodil’s fear grew more but brave as she is, she tried to overcome what she feels and think how to protect herself just in case they will be attacked by wolves. She grabbed her bag nearby and got her pepper spray inside. Lexus furrowed when she saw what she got inside her bag. “Don’t spray perfume; it will ignite more of your smell to the wolves,” he whispered. Daffodil shook her head. “This is a pepper spray, something I can use to defend myself in case we
I Lexus growled as he could not do what he wanted to do. His mate is quite wise not to let him. “Daff if you will not let me see that bosom of yours, I will just take you now,” He said, threatening her as he pressed to her his hard and erect manhood. Daffodil’s eyes widened in shock when she felt his full readiness to take her. “Oh no, release me now Lexus!” she scowled at him trying to break free from his arms. But Lexus is too strong and Daffodil could not break free from his tight embrace “Oh no Sweetheart; either you show me your bosom or I will take you now.” His voice seemed to be unbendable as he looked at her with ferocity. “Hah, are you really planning to rape me?” Daffodil asked mockingly. Lexus grinned at her, “I don’t think I need to Sweetheart. You will just give in, I can feel that,” he murmured, biting her right ear, sliding his tongue inside it that brought shivers into her senses. Daffodil’s jaw tightened as her anger grew more. Suddenly, her eyes sparkled so
I Lexus was not able to mutter any word as he saw with his own eyes the golden mark like a half-moon at the bosom of Daffodil. He fell silent; fears crept into his whole body. “Daffodil, you are the missing golden she-wolf,” he murmured with a shaking voice. “How sure are you that I am indeed the missing golden she-wolf Lexus? Just because I have golden eyes and golden marks?” Daffodil asked unconvinced still. “All the signs are with you Daffodil.”Lexus said as he sat-up releasing Daffodil from his arms. “What will I do Lexus? I guess it is time for me to go back home and ask Mom and Dad about this matter.” She signed as she sat-up too. “No Daffodil. You need to learn more about yourself; unravel what’s hidden in that golden mark; let your wolf out and develop your mental powers. I will help you Sweetheart.” Lexus exclaimed while looking at Daffodil with determination. Daffodil shook her head. “I am a very busy Lexus person; I ran companies and I have responsibilities to attend
I Lexus' heart thumped as he noticed a big man sitting at the back part. His dark color and his equally dark eyes are fiercely looking at them when they enter the plane. Good thing they found two seats beside each other; they don’t need to seat apart. When both of them were settled on their seats; Lexus tried to relax. He does not want Daffodil to notice his uneasiness. It is better that she did not know that they might be in danger right at this moment. Who knows, he might be just too paranoid. Anyhow, Daffodil is wearing a contact lens covering her golden eyes. Her eyes right now are akin to the ocean’s color. When the aircraft started to soar up, Lexus checked on Daffodil first before he closed his eyes. She was looking at him too. Smilingly, he put his left arm around her shoulders and let her lean on his muscular chest. “You sleep Sweetheart; we have a long way to go,” he murmured, to which she just nodded. Daffodil could hear and feel the fast beating of Lexus' heart. She no
I Trixie’s heart is beating fast. Her mind is surmising something and she needs to inform their Alpha. Lexus is for her; ‘though he cannot feel it yet, but she is sure about it because she can feel it. She loves him; so, no way that another woman would just snatched him away from her just like that, especially if he just met that woman just a few days ago. After a few minutes’ drive with her electronic bike, Trixie reached the pack house of the Mythical Silver Shadow Pack. She immediately alighted from her e-bike and ran inside looking for the Alpha. Her father is a Gamma and well respected in their pack since he was considered as one of the wisest men in the pack and most of all, his father is close to the Alpha. Suddenly Trixie remembered his Gamma Father. “Oh yes right! I need to tell things to my father so that he will be the one to relay it to the Alpha,” she muttered. So, she went to their house instead and looked for her father. She was bubbling while narrating to her fathe
I It is their second day in Sydney, Australia and they are getting along well. Lexus is a very gentleman, thoughtful, protective and caring. He could even be an ideal man but Daffodil is trying to close her eyes as she does not want to be involved seriously yet to any man. But the mate pull between them is too strong that Daffodil in the end just gave in from denying the attraction she has with Lexus. They became closer with each other. Tonight after having their dinner in a waterfront restaurant at the Harbor Cruises from Circular Quay, they decided to take a little walk to stroll along the Sydney Harbour Bridge. “It is very relaxing here Lexus; people seemed to be carefree and oblivious of any pandemic or crisis around.” Daffodil said as they strolled along the Sydney Harbor Bridge. “Yes, I noticed too.” Lexus nodded and then asked, “How about in Los Angeles?” “Oh I have not noticed; I am more on work than fun for the whole years that I started to handle our businesses.” Lexu
I Before Alpha Daedos would finally know that Lexus ran away with the missing Golden She-wolf, Lexus was already at Cooked Islands traveling now to their village and in the packhouse of the Mythical Silver Shadow Pack. It was hard for Lexus to leave Daffodil but doing so would be the best move in the meantime to protect her. His longing for her is getting deeper and he felt an emptiness in his heart. He took a deep sigh and shook his head as if by doing so, he can be able to forget about Daffodil. When he entered their pack house, he immediately looked for their Alpha Daedos, whom he found sitting on his Alpha’s Chair in the pack house Alpha’s hall. He looked at him with an unfathomable expression as he was approaching him. “Alpha, apology, I just returned now,” Lexus said as he bowed his head to Alpha Daedos. “Care to explain Lexus?” The Alpha’s tone was serious and Lexus’ instinct told him that something happened prior to his return. Although Lexus readied himself already for t
I Daffodil was not able to answer Dixon quickly. She was suddenly faced with such a dilemma if she would tell Dixon about Lexus or not. In the end, Daffodil decided to keep things about her and Lexus, within herself only. She is not ready yet to divulge her true identity to anyone. “I just met him in Sydney. I was sitting alone in the restaurant and then he approached me asking if he could join me at the table,” she answered shortly. Dixon just simply looked at her and nodded. He did not ask further about the man from Sydney instead he tried to focus on his driving. There is no need to let Daffodil know that he did not buy her alibi about the man. Dixon has another picture of Daffodil and the man from Sydney, walking hand and hand when they went outside of the restaurant. Although Dixon knew very well that he has no right in any way to be jealous yet he cannot control himself. At the onset that he met Daffodil in one of the parties where he was with his father and she was with her
