Vikram ascended the stairs in haste,not wanting to be late to his meeting.
"Why are you in such a hurry?",Sakshi asked bewildered, seeing her son.
"I am busy Mom",Vikram waved his mother away,"I have some work. Will talk later",he said as he continued walking.

Keerthi blinked her eyes open when she felt too warm. She opened her eyes to find herself in her husband's embrace. Keerthi cursed herself in her head. Multiple times. She was so scared. What if Vikram was mad at her for not letting him kiss her? She was terrified now. Vikram didn't go to bed the whole night. Keerthi saw her husband sleeping on the couch when she woke up to an empty bed. She frowned at his behaviour. They had argued multiple times,but Vikram never resorted to such measures, Keerthi thought sadly. She ran a hand through his hair, letting him sleep,as she made way to the washroom. Vikram woke up to his wife's soft snores,his arm under his wife's neck, which was probably sore now,and the other loosely draped around her waist,on her skin, where her shirt had ridden up,while his wife's hand rested on his chest,his legs locking hers' in between his. Arvind Verma wanted to wait for his daughter to leave before he dealt with his wife. She had come home after quite some time. He wanted it to be pleasant for her, merely controlling the urge to beat the truth out of his wife. He found it better to see his wife hurt rather than his daughter.
