Chapter 9: His Rejection

Trust is earned, respect is given, and loyalty is demonstrated. Betrayal of any of those is to lose all three.

I read that quote in a book a long time ago, and though I didn’t understand it much back then, right now it was very apparent to me, like having blurry vision your entire life and suddenly you get glasses and voila, 20/20 vision.
