Isabella's P.O.V

I saw captain Leonard hurriedly walk up to the long table where we sat and whisper something into Ethan's ear. Even though I sat next to Ethan, I still could not catch what information was passed to Ethan. Ethan's expression remained the same even after hearing the urgent information that the captain had brought hurriedly.

I knew that whatever the captain told Ethan was really important, if not, the captain would have waited for the meeting to come to an end before bringing the information. Ethan was just being Ethan. He would not afford to show surprise or shock in front of his men.

Ethan nodded curtly and captain Leonard turned and exited the room. I watched Ethan's face with keen eyes ready to catch anything that would give away the nature of the message he had received but the man was really a difficult book to read, let alone understand.

"I'll leave you now. A matter arises demanding my immediate attention and I must leave immediately. The meeting has come to an
