SCARLET'S POV

I gasped for air as I was brought back to reality. What I had seen must have been a result of where Ralph and I went to.

It was a really scary moment for me, but right now, what was my top most priority was finding Elias.

ELIAS' POV.

I walked in after her, feeling cautious of my steps. She seemed to know her way well because she kept on going further, winding her way down the paths.

I felt terribly uneasy. It seemed like all the parts of my body, and everything in me were telling me not to go, to return; wait for her to come out from the cave, but my curiousity kept me going.

Dark energy seemed to emanate from the cave, prickling my senses, and having the hairs on my body alert, and standing upright.

My heart filled with dread, as the ominous feeling grew. I really wanted to stop, and think things over, but I kept following her deep into the cave, trying to keep my presence unknown.
