Chapter Eighteen: Statistic

His eyes begin to flutter open as like a butterfly's wings as he takes a look around, I know in his mind he hadn’t a clue where he was or why he was here, which is why I had to ensure he knew that I was with him.

“Dad, can you hear me?” I ask standing up and moving so I was in his eyeshot, his eyes soon dart to me where a series of grunts begin to leave his lips before his eyes move down to his mouth in a panicked sort of state.
