DUANTE'S POV

The urge of killing him was sharp inside me. He could be a random person, eyeing my wife and someone from the troop of my enemies. Speaking to Eve was crossing my mind. I would after seeing him dead. How the f*** dare him to hold the hand of my wife? From the description, my men were telling me, he couldn't be a commoner.

I exhaled slowly as I saw them driving inside the house. My phone buzzed in my pocket. I took it out. The need to drown out the unsettling in my head was so agile, I wanted to strut toward her and hold her tight to my chest.

I rolled the window down. I would find my enemy around her. They considered her my weakness. Pretty f****** true. They didn't need to know. She's my strength.

"Brother, just two minutes. I'm sorry. I got late. I'll expla...." I cut him off.

"Two minutes," I hung up on him. He shouldn't take responsibility when he isn't prepared to carry out his obligations.
