Chapter Twelve

Amelia was done sorting the files after hours of silently cursing.

“Hello, I am Diana” A girl who stood in front of her cubicle said, stretching her hands for a handshake.

“Nice to meet you, you’re new here?”

“Yep, and I’m already loving the job” Amelia said sarcastically, pointing to the piles of files she just sorted out.

“That’s not supposed to be our job” Amelia frowned but understanding dawned on her- Xavier just wanted to punish her by giving her the piles, maybe it was useless.

“You look nice and very friendly” the girl with dark black bulb hair and brown eyes said, Amelia wasn’t sure if she should pass a ‘thank you’ so she said instead;
