He stopped and walked towards her."I don't really know how you pulled this off but I'm going to find out and-", he paused and looked at her intently. " Please don't try denying it. I'm pretty sure it's you because who else would be dumb enough to remove only the main files and leave the backup files untouched." He grinned widely. Realisation hit like a bullet in Anya's mind. "Who else but you?" he continued. So that's how he was able to retrieve the files. Oh my, what am I going to tell the girls! I totally screwed up. She floated in her thoughts when Ronan snapped his fingers. " If you're back from dreamland, might I just say something?" He said waving his hands.
She stopped by the grocery store to buy some supplies before she went home. She was planning to make something special as Viola's dad was coming for dinner. She finally decided to make lamb stew with rice as it was his favourite meal. She had to somehow make him understand or atleast pacify him that she can't take the trip. She thought of all the possible reasons that could convince him. She knew it was a hard task but it wasn't impossible. She went home and started preparing the stew when Viola entered the kitchen. " Long day
May 2011, India.Anya splashed the water on her face and looked at her reflection in the mirror.Today's a big day.She had the drug to sedate Rahul in her bag. She had to give it to him somehow. She spent a whole night without sleeping figuring out ways to give him the drug, not like she usually slept anyway. She wiped her face with the towel and headed to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.
Anya's heart ached more than her cheek. She felt as if someone was clenching her heart with great force, trying to remove it from it's place. The piercing pain left her body numb to the effects and gazes surrounding her. She looked up with agonising eyes at Ronan and saw something that she didn't see in Rahul's eyes. It was guilt or maybe even remorse, she couldn't really tell but it definitely wasn't the despise that she saw in Rahul's eyes. It was the second time that she had been slapped in her life and it stung more than the first one, not because it came unexpected but because it reminded her of the first one and everything else that followed it and that's what made it worse .
"I'm calling dad right now. He needs to know what a douche of a manager he's got." Viola said furiously, picking up her phone. Anya had just finished narrating the reason for her cheek reddening up while they were walking to the shop where the girls were waiting for them. Anya was using the foundation from Viola's bag to cover up the marks on her cheek." No, no! Vye, I told you, I'm not reporting him." Anya snatched the phone away from her hand.
Some say love can happen only once while others believe in the notion that love doesn't occur on a single instance or on a single person but it's diversified over a number of things, that love can happen over a number of times over a number of people at various instances. The latter kind is sometimes looked upon by the former as they believe their love is more divine or holistic or even better than the latter. Anya was of the former kind. She had believed that true love existed and it happened only once and on one person. But that was during a part of her life where she believed in a lot of other things too. Now, she was different. Her notions had changed, her outlook towards life was different and her perspective of things had advanced. She knew better than love happening just once. She knew true love existed but this precious commodity, in her definition, existed only for a selected few. Some were deprived of it while others didn't care. She was deprived of it and now she didn't care
Someone shook her hard. She couldn't breathe and so she tried opening her mouth to inhale some air but she couldn't. She tried to move but she couldn't. She tried to open her eyes. Everything was blurred, there was light and there was a face. A familiar face that looked more like someone she knew. She closed her eyes again.Someone touched her. She felt movement all over her body. She heard someone talking to her. It was a female voice, a familiar voice again. She saw herself walking through a familiar doorway. She was dressed well, as if she was going out. She saw a man standing near a well tainted car. The car was painted black and the man looked handsome, looked familiar. She tried to look closer but her eyes hurt. She was held by her arms and made to sit inside the car.She felt the soft cushion of a seat. She was still but everything around her was rushing past her vision. She tried to concentrate, to know her surroundings but her eyes hurt everytime she tried to look closer. She
There are two kinds of whirlpool. The first kind is where a pool of water spins under the influence of high gravity and attracts everything inside it to it's hole. The second kind is the washing machine. Anya couldn't really tell the difference because that's how bad her head was spinning. She knew what a fit or more technically, a seizure was, since one of her friends had epilepsy. She knew what she must do when a person had seizure but she didn't know a person would fall unconscious after a seizure. Usually after a fit, her friend would almost immediately become normal except feeling a little weak but she never fell unconscious.Anya tried to think of something but her mind wouldn't just work. She bent forward towards Ronan and shook his face but he didn't move and her heart started beating so fast that it literally thumped inside her chest. She slowly placed two of her fingers near his nose to try and feel his breath. After a few seconds, she could feel air brushing against the part
After an hour or so, a nurse told Anya that Ronan had gained back his consciousness and she could go see him. The news rose her heartbeat and she felt relieved, happy and a lot of other things that she couldn't exactly point. She hurried to the room but stopped at the doorstep. She knew that once she enters she would have to answer Ronan's questions. She knew that she would have to reveal things that she had locked up and buried deep inside her heart. She took a deep breath brushing away the thoughts and pushed open the door. She saw Ronan half lying on the bed with his head resting on the back, wearing a blue collarless shirt which was probably the hospital's dress code for patients and the doctor was checking something on his notepad. He looked so weak as though all the energy from his body had been sucked out. It hurt her to see him like that since she'd only seen him with the brisk face and robust body. Ronan gave a weak smile seeing her and she smiled back. Seeing his smile made h
