Chapter 9: The Darkest Hour

Fenrir was angry, so angry that he couldn't think straight, he was running so fast. He was blaming himself for risking the security of his pack.

Fenrir's wolf, growling and snarling, paced back and forth in his mind. "Where is she, Fenrir? You let your guard down, and now she's gone! If anything happens to our mate, I will destroy everything," His wolf warned him. Fenrir's thoughts raced, his mind a jumble of emotions.

"I don't know, wolf. I thought she was innocent, but maybe Sylvia was right. Maybe Aria was playing me all along." His wolf snarled, "You're the Alpha, Fenrir! You can't afford to be blind! Find her, and find out the truth! I know our mate is innocent, you dare think that she is a culprit here, no she is not..." His wolf was getting furious at him and his thoughts, that he was accusing Aria.

Fenrir's eyes scanned the forest, his senses on high alert. He had searched for hours, but there was no sign of Aria.
