Avyanna's point of view:

I'm still not over what happened, and the fact that Austin and Tristan were trying to… I don't know… perhaps, to bring me back to the Palace.

The thing is that I won't be able to focus on the matter for now since my mate is missing.

I haven't seen him since the incident, and while having Vervain in his system, he's indeed in danger.

I know that Peter is physically strong and that they certainly won't do anything to him physically. Yet, I cannot claim the same about his mental health.

I am his mate, yet he attacked me as if I was a stranger.

What will happen to a real stranger then?

The worst part was that we were not even at home, we were in a new pack.

If anything bad happens, we would be kicked out of the pack. Of course, I'm no princess anymore, and I'm not even a werewolf.

As for Peter, he's always welcome to go back to the palace, but he won't go back without me.

It is all about us together, as long as we are together, we will be both in trouble.
