Alexis's mother stood there nervously as I looked down at her. She was shaking as I asked her what she wanted. She looked shocked I wasn't welcoming and stared at me.

"Can I see her? "

"not now she is sleeping. I will tell her you came by. She needs rest",I started watching her. I was suspicious of her from the beginning because she knew what was happening and she did nothing.

She nodded sadly and handed me a letter for my kitten. She left and I shut the door with a sigh. Alexis was still sleeping when I sat by her to wait on our takeout. She looked so innocent and cute sleeping. My fingers brushed her hair back loving I was able to touch her and have her home.

The doorbell rang again and I got up to answer. It was Natalie this time and my anger peaked. This bitch tried to worm back in while Alexis was in her coma. She called, texted me and tried to bring food over.
