ADRIAN'S POV
The sun seared my eyes out of my head, as it lit up at the rear of my eyelids. I staggered as I stood up lazily to see the dawn of another day. I slid the curtains to one side and took a view of the sun bursting out of its horizons. I yawned and scratched my eyes, trying to wake myself fully to life.
"Urgh!" I groaned and sat back on the bed because I was feeling extremely tired. "It seemed like I had so much to drink with this blonde." I thought as I looked beside me. She was without clothes sleeping casually like she was at home.
"Hello, Ana, you have to go now, it's morning," I said, in a slightly harsh tone. Well, not harshly though, since the drink I took was working on my voice. It's bad to know what drinking alcohol can cause.
"I still want to sleep, leave me alone," she said in some sleepy tone while rolling to my side.
"Hey, my father will be mad if he finds out I laid with a person who's not even my mate, so stand up and go!" I raised my voice at her.
"Ah! It's morning already," she complained, getting up slowly.
"Just freshen up and leave, siren," I said, getting up. I walked up to the glass center table and grabbed my remaining bottle of whiskey, before gulping down from the bottle.
"You're still drinking?!"
"I am, so what?" I asked. "I am used to it," I said, turning to her as she wrapped herself in the sheets.
"What's that? We already were sold to each other yesterday. Leave, before my father gives half of your head to the fishes." I ordered her.
"And you would allow him to do that?" She asked, walking up to me, her soft and warm skin wrapping me up.
"I would," I said. "Just go. I don't want any trouble." I flinched.
"Why are you so upset?" Rayana asked, taking the bottle of whiskey from my hands and gulping it down.
The door burst open, with Zayn, my friend walking in. He snorted at the sight of us.
"Ah, Zayn, good you're here," I wave at him. "Just take care of her, she doesn't want to leave. She's irritating me."
"Aha, Ana. Come here, I will lead you out safely. If you're caught, I'll run away and leave you to face it alone." Zayn said to her.
"Exactly," I added, walking straight to my closet, and picking out some pairs of good clothes, and a denim jacket.
"Adrian, you know you're in hot soup," he said.
"What kind of hot soup? Seaweed? Tortellini?" I joked as I put on my clothes.
"This is not something to joke about, you know. I'm serious," he said as his expression changed. It seemed like something was wrong.
"What happened?"
"Your father, Alpha Ambrose has gotten into some feud with another Alpha. This was something I overheard from his beta."
"Ana, is this your father?" I asked. She didn't reply, rather she scoffed at me.
"Your father was aware that you were here?"
"I think so," she said in perplexity.
"Shit! And why did you come here in the first place? Hope your mate's not also aware?"
"I don't think my mate is aware," she said plainly.
"Darn it. You have to leave right now. You're in danger here. Your father has turned against my father because he is aware you're here."
"But, are you sure it's my father? He wouldn't do that."
"Do you know what happened to my past girlfriends when they were caught? They died. And I think this might go on with you if you don't leave now!" I bawled at her. She's stubborn.
"Why did she come here?" Zayn asked, looking at me. I didn't answer him as I went over to the windowsill, and spied downwards to see what was happening outside.
"The guard down there is weak, and I cannot find any pack guard. Maybe you guys can leave from the window," I suggested, looking at Zayn, who seemed less concerned.
"Zayn, maybe a knockout punch would do, and then she can escape. If you find one person, just…"
"Wait, are you speaking to me?" He rhetorically asked, getting me angrier.
"What?"
"I didn't know you were speaking to me."
"What do you mean? You're the only one that can help me with this."
"I didn't cause this. And Adrian, do not forget, I am an Omega. I am not so strong, and you know the workout is not my forte, my punch can hardly crack a nut, not to mention knock someone out. You were the one who picked an alpha's daughter, this bimbo," he said, looking at Rayana.
"Don't call me that," Rayana frowned as she headed towards the window.
"What's that Ana, what do you want to do?" Zayn asked.
"Wanting to escape of course. I am tired of staying here listening to you two talk rubbish." She puts on her clothes, and quickly does her hair, before turning to us.
"Bye," she said, before diving the first leg downwards, and then jumping downwards. I turned to Zayn, who stared in bewilderment.
"Zayn, she's a strong girl!" I exclaimed.
"Yeah, she is, and she's a wonder woman." Correspondingly, we both rushed to check what happened to Rayana.
"Everywhere is clear, no sign of life, not to speak of… death, it was definitely not a big jump," he said, before turning back.
"What are you doing? Go check if she's safe!" I ordered.
"Okay, fine," he said, before sauntering off and flying down the window.
I sighed, before rushing off to the bathroom. I quickly unzipped my trousers and brought out my schlong to pee. I shake it, before hiding it beneath my underpants. I should now have a nice hot bath.
"Adrian," a voice called from outside.
"Come in," I replied.
It was Zeta Liam. He rushed into my room, with a worried look surfacing on his face.
"What happened?" I asked perplexed.
"Your father wants to meet you right now, Adrian, and he's in his office waiting for you."
I quickly hurried up and after dressing, I walked out of my room, and down the alley, to meet my father. I decreased my speed as I stopped at the front of his office.
"Dad," I called, before walking in.
"Oh, Adrian. Sit down, I have a lot to discuss with you," he said, with thick fumes of smoke emitting from his mouth, as he fondled his pipe as usual.
"Good morning dad," I said, sitting down. His ear-to-ear grin quickly transformed into a menacing stare.
"Adrian, you are the Alpha's son. You are the one to continue the bloodline streak of our ancestral lineage. How well are you preparing for this?"
"I train hard, dad. And I try to learn more each day, I learn to read to increase my wisdom horizons," I lied. Of course, I had to lie. That was what my father would love to hear. I would be damn dead if he knew that I was a womanizer, instead of learning how to handle a pack.
"Are you telling me the truth?" He asked with an interrogative expression running across his mien.
"Of course, I am," I lied again.
"That you are trying to learn how to manage a pack. Or that you are busy following women?!" He bawled, leaving me in a fatal silence. If I didn't say anything at that point, he would assume that he was right.
"I had my guards follow you, and found out that this week, you were with three women! Is this how you would handle a pack?" He asked. I couldn't say a word because I was now caught.
"Uh… No," I manage to speak, only to end up stuttering. The top-notch ceiling fan did not help my condition because I was sweating profusely like I was bathed with water.
"Do you want to ruin Alpha Ambrose's name? What do you think? That I wouldn't know of you and Eva?!" He yelled.
I blinked, in utter bemusement.
"Did my father know that I cheated on Eva?" Just pondering about it, strong arrows burst through the glass.
What? Were we attacked by rogues now?
ADRIAN'S POVBefore I could say another word another arrow flew past me. I sat stunned as the arrows kept raining in, thankfully, missing me and the Alpha, but it was the look on his face that snapped my attention back. I got up quickly, and grabbing a nearby shield the Alpha always kept handy, I pushed it forward towards the windows and bared them with their iron shutters, managing to get some arrows into my arm in the process.“Have you stolen some Alpha’s mate and brought a war upon us?” My father, the Alpha of my tribe, and constant pain in my neck asked as I turned around to face him, wincing as I pulled out the arrows from my upper arm – blasted things! They were poisoned, and now my arm would take even longer to heal.“Answer me!” The Alpha snapped, and only then did I notice how angry he was.“No! I didn’t !” I spat out angrily. “Maybe you should learn to have a little more faith in your heir.”Alpha Ambrose sneered. He looked like he had a whole lot to say but now was not the
FEW MOMENTS LATERThe battle got tougher and everywhere was bloody mess. The arm in which I was using to wield my sword started feeling heavier so I threw away the sword, and decided to use my bare claws, and yet I still spent more time than I would have liked before I killed an enemy.A dread cuddled up within me, but I ignored it, focusing instead on my anger. Anger was good – anger was what I understood, what I saw each day when I looked into the mirror and each time I looked at my father, Alpha Ambrose. What would become of me if I lost this war? If I did not bring the head of the leader of these rebels to my father in a spike as I had promised. My father would kill me. The ruthless Alpha would have no reason to respect me anymore or to believe me. He would forever treat me like a little wimp and I wouldn't want that to happen."Blast it! Why does he treat me this way??!! I was his only son! His only living heir!" I shouted in rage as I grabbed an enemy closest to me and hooked my
EVA'S POVI was really anxious about the ongoing battle. I couldn't sleep because the clashing metals and howling of werewolves everywhere were causing a great deal of noise and ruining the calm that was once in my hometown. I didn't know how I was going to end this battle before it would cause something bad to happen. I could lose my father or the love of my life in this battle and it scared me. "What should I do now? How can I stop it?" Those were the questions I kept asking myself as my anxiety level increased.I paced around my room anxiously, walking from one corner of the room to another. Anyone who saw me would think that I was exercising my legs but I wasn't, I was too lazy to do any sort of exercise – I would prefer to sleep. Anyways, as I paced about my room I was hoping that I would magically get a solution to stop the war but no idea came into my thick skull. "Damn it!! Damn it!! I shouted in frustration as I hit my head with both of my hands.Too many thoughts raced throu
AFTER A FEW MINUTESWe arrived at the door of the tower room after going through numerous tunnels. My father's palace or should I say mansion was big – in fact, big was an understatement, enormous was the right word to describe the mansion. There were so many places inside the mansion that I have never been to in my 19 years of living there. There were places that I didn't even know existed. The tower room, for example, I've heard about it from my mother one certain time when she was telling me a story about how she and my father would sneak in there to do teenage love stuff when they were younger and hadn't gotten married to each other yet. Yeah, I know what you are thinking but my mother is like that, she liked to reminisce about the time when she was younger to me because according to her I could learn from her mistakes so she never missed a chance to tell me her story. The young maiden knocked on the door and whispered, "Open up the door. I am here with Alpha's daughter."Someone,
ALPHA'S JACK POVIt was a brutal battle – It was one hell of a tough battle. It was the first time in a very long time that I had witnessed anything like it. The whole action thrilled me, but witnessing several members of my pack die did not.The enemy were approaching my mansion like swarms of bees, increasing in number instead of decreasing. They were powerful and furious; the fury within them made them stronger and more determined to conquer.I was trying to finish off a Beta Werewolf when all of a sudden an Alpha jumped over the fence and pounced on me, digging into my shoulders with his sharp claws and I winced in pain. "Impressive for a guy like him." I thought to myself and ripped the Beta's throat so that I could face this guy who thinks he can beat him – he has no idea that he just messed with the wrong guy.He let go of me and looked into my eyes with a smile on his face. The asshole was smiling!! Can you imagine this guy? How can he smile when he's about to die??I hated ho
ADRIAN'S POV"I must find whoever owns this scent!! I won't stop until I find him so that I can fulfill my promise to my annoying father!!" I muttered to myself as I continued to follow the strong scent given to me by the moon goddess. The night was dark and cold. The war was still ongoing and more Werewolves were being massacred. Some Werewolves had their head ripped off from their neck while others had their chests torn apart with their hearts ripped out. Everywhere was a bloody mess and the scent of blood was strong in the night wind.I was tired of fighting with young lads or should I call them servants? To me, any Werewolf that isn't an Alpha or a Beta is just a mere servant and they disgust me. You can call it pride or whatever – I don't care. I craved to face the real deal, the leader, the one who ordered the attack on my pack, the one who made my father insult me. I touched my face as I remembered how my father struck me on the face with his claws, leaving four gaping red line
ADRIAN'S POVThe ignorant fool attacked me from behind and sank his claws into both of my shoulders. I clutched my shoulders and groaned in pain – I immediately regretted the decision I took to wait until he attacked me first. I should have attacked first, and now I am paying the price. I stood up straight and stopped whimpering like a baby.I'll take my time to deal with this fool because I needed to burn off some steam – thinking about Eva had made me furious. I swiftly turned to face the guy who attacked me and I laughed when I saw the face of who just attacked me. Guess what – it was an Omega!! Can you imagine it? A mere Omega?? Where did his loyalty to Alphas go? Was he crazy?? The more I thought about it the more it made me laugh and I couldn't stop myself. The young lad just stood there and stared at me in a confused state. I'm sure that he was wondering why I was laughing so hard. I shook my head from side to side whilst grinning. I pitied the young lad but to my greatest surp
ADRIAN'S POV I was utterly shocked when I saw Eva walk out the tower room – she was the last person that I was expecting to see at that time. My eyes widened, I thought I was hallucinating so I used both my hands to rub my eyes but she was still standing there — it was real, I wasn't hallucinating. Trust me to flub – in less than five minutes I had already forgotten the promise I made to myself about not letting Eva distract me. I recalled all the silly thoughts I had in my head concerning her and I was losing it. Looking at her lips without not being to taste them was driving me nuts and causing my heartbeat to accelerate. "Adrian?? What are you doing here??" Eva called out and jolted me back to reality. Thank goodness she said something otherwise I would have started to drool because of how I kept my mouth agape, staring at her. I closed my mouth but I didn't look away – I couldn't stop staring at her. I didn't answer her because so many thoughts were running through my head at t
