Chapter 12: Wake up!

The next day

SELENE'S P.O.V

Opening my eyes I was enveloped in extreme darkness, it was not that strange after all I had lived in darkness all my life but this time it was different the cold aura slowly seeped into my skin, This was not the Human world.

"Where am I?" I asked hoping for a reply but nothing, "Is anybody there?" I shouted again but my voice died down instantly.

"La_La_la la la_la la". A melodious hum floated into my ears making me feel assured and calm. "How beautiful, Who is there?" I asked but no answer.

The melody continued so I decided to move forward following the voice.

With my eyes shut tight I moved forward step by step following the melodious voice.

The humming got louder and clearer, realizing I was getting close to the source I braced myself and walked faster, just then a bright light suddenly hit me forcing me to open my eyes.

I can't believe it, I could see... This must be a dream.

Right in front of me was an old woman with golden hair and eyes, gold dust
