Amelia slept and she found herself back in her dream where her parents were leaving the room. She watched in horror as her parents left the room and no matter how much she tried to run to them and stop them, she couldn't do so.She heard a loud howl and she knew it was from the deformed creature she had seen at the gate. The howl suddenly became more and Amelia's knees went weak as she knew that there were now more of them. There was suddenly a gust of wind. The next thing Amelia felt was herself being swept off her feet and she was thrown away. She closed her eyes waiting for the impact but it never came. She slowly opened her eyes to check what was happening. And to her surprise, she was standing in the exact same spot she had been standing in before the wind threw her off her feet. However, she saw that it was now night time. What happened to her parents? Did they survive and what about the two children who were in the walls? The door to the room suddenly swung open and two people,
"What is it?" Arthur asked worriedly."Well, my nightmare, I saw…." Amelia stopped talking as she didn't know how to tell Arthur."Yes go on," Arthur urged, a bit happy that Amelia was opening up to him."I'm not telling you everything that happened though," Amelia informed him. In a way, she wasn't hiding anything from him as he would know that she wasn't telling him everything that had happened to her."Just tell me what you want to tell me," Arthur implored her."I saw a scary looking man and woman in my dream," Amelia said. "And I have never met them in my entire life.""And what did they look like?" Arthur asked."The woman looked a lot like Cara," Amelia described.Arthur's eyes immediately flashed black upon what Amelia said. He already knew who the other person was."And the man was like you, he did that shift thing you did," Amelia narrated. "Oh yes, the man's name was Cornelius and the woman's name was Leticia!" She exclaimed. This wasn't a good sign. Amelia had never met
Madeline and Grace suddenly flinched at the sound of her voice and she looked at them in confusion. Amelia didn't realize that she had used her Luna tone."Forgive us, Luna," the two immediately begged and they fell at her feet."No, don't beg me, please get up," Amelia said in horror. She was used to doing the begging and not other people begging her."I'm sorry I snapped at you so please get up," Amelia requested. And thankfully, the two women stood up. "We are sorry for disobeying your order Luna," they said at the same time."It's okay, I don't just feel comfortable with someone touching me," Amelia explained."I'll go and get dressed," she said and entered the closet. She came out five minutes later dressed in a pair of jeans and a hoodie. It seemed that where she was going was really cold judging from how thick the hoodie was and the fact that she was even made to wear boots.Madeline and Grace were still standing at the spot where she had left them. And they reminded her of h
Amelia didn't know for how long she had slept but when she opened her eyes, she saw that the car was entering a parking lot.She sat up and looked around. She saw that they were at a restaurant. Her stomach grumbled and the realization dawned on that she didn't have breakfast. She brought out her phone and checked the time and to her shock she saw that it was two o'clock. That meant that she had been asleep for over eight hours. This was really weird as she wouldn't have thought she would have fallen asleep with Cara beside her.Speaking of Cara, she turned and saw that the witch was also just waking up.Take off your hoodie, it might raise a lot of questions," Cara said as she also took hers off.Amelia figured out Cara was as well just like humans when it came to feeling cold. The car door opened and Amelia got down. "I'm sorry to wake you up but you have to eat something as you didn't have breakfast," Arthur said."Why haven't you given control to your human yet?" Cara asked in ir
"Are you going to give me the answer I want or should I fetch it out of you?" Cara asked. She was done being nice to Amelia and waiting for her to tell her the truth. It was time she did things her own way.Amelia quickly turned and faced the window. She could tell that for Cara to be able to get the truth out of her, they needed to have eye contact and that was the reason she quickly looked away."Smart girl," Cara commented and smiled. She then turned her head and looked outside the window and at the sky which was now getting dark.Fear suddenly started creeping up Amelia's spine for no reason. She looked at her arms and saw that goosebumps were slowly spreading to the rest of her body and to her horror, she saw that her skin was becoming pale. She quickly grabbed her hoodie and wore it before Cara saw how pale her skin had become. She knew it had something to do with the changes she had been going through.Thankfully it was getting dark and so it wasn't really noticeable but then
Amelia's rejection didn't sit too well with the lycan as it let out a sad whimper and tried to approach her once again. All it wanted was to touch his mate and make sure she was okay so why was he behaving like this especially after they had made progress earlier."Stay away from me you monster?!" Amelia yelled and moved back further as she wanted to get as far away from him as possible. The lycan didn't understand that Amelia was terrified of what she had just witnessed and of him especially due to the fact that his fur was covered in blood. The other people however understood that Amelia had just seen how cruel their world was and so, they quickly shifted back to their human form."Arthur you have to shift," Lance mind-linked Arthur and this earned him a growl as the lycan didn't like his suggestion. "She's scared of you Arthur," Lance said. "She'll go back to being terrified of you and everyone if you do not shift now."The lycan turned and found his mate staring at him in horror.
Amelia calmed down when she heard his words as she realized that she had overreacted. He was indeed right as those creatures wouldn't have spared her life if he hadn't intervened. He had done nothing so far that would harm her and she had this tiny piece of faith in him that he wouldn't harm her."What prophecy was Leticia talking about?" Amelia asked. "And why didn't you tell me that there was a prophecy about me?" She added."You'll know at the right time," Arthur simply said."When is the right time going to be?" She asked."When I decide that it's the right time," Arthur replied firmly, not wanting to discuss the matter any further.Amelia crossed her hands and pouted showing that she wasn't happy with his decision but she didn't voice it out loud."Now listen to me, we are at a foreign pack where really suspicious activity has been reported to be happening, don't go doing anything that will get you in trouble,” Arthur warned."I don't go looking for trouble, your whole kind trou
Leticia slowly opened the door to the room and walked in. She looked at the sleeping lady on the bed and she slowly made her way towards her.‘Cara, my dear twin sister, you’ve always been an embarrassment to our parents and I’m here to punish you for that,’ Leticia said and she brought out her dagger. She knew Cara wasn’t dumb not to have put protective charms around herself in case someone tried to use magic to hurt her. And so, she was forced to kill her using this method. She raised the dagger up to stab Cara with it but before she could do so, Cara opened her eyes and immediately blasted a fireball at Leticia throwing her off her feet."You're awake," Leticia snarled in anger. "I know that you were hoping I would be dead but sadly, your prayers aren't going to get answered today," Cara said."How are you awake, I hit you with a spell that would make you unconscious for a week," Leticia said."That's the thing about you Leticia, your overconfidence that you're much stronger than m
