The assistant wanted to say, 'His wife just spoke about buying a 10,000-piece puzzle that alone cost more than a mere book' but kept her calm and smiled. "I'm sorry but there is nothing we can do."
"Nothing you can do? I'll go call the security guards and report you to management!" Another of the women protested.
Qing Shan didn't like the attitudes of the young women but since his young master was patiently waiting, he didn't have a reason to react. But just because he didn't have a reason, he couldn't believe that Zhi Rou was nowhere to be seen. There was only one door, and she couldn't have left the shop.
As he was scanning the back of the store, he saw her walking towards them. Her expression told him that she was displeased and Qing Shan hoped that she'd do something about them.

The couple arrived at the beautiful apartment on the ground floor. Yuan Rui lived in the area where only the rich and wealthy resided. He had a whole floor to himself as his residence. There were three other floors above him, but no one knew who stayed on the first floor. The RV stopped at the front where they could easily help Yuan Rui out and lead him into the house. Zhi Rou wheeled him out of the RV and looked around, amazed. The garden around the apartment complex was amazing. It had an array of flowers, and the trees were magnificently maintained. She wheeled him forward and they entered the complex. She saw an elevator, but was told to just head straight to door 100. Opening the door to her room, Zhi Rou walked in and was dumbstruck! Her bedroom was as big as the living room they were just in, and the decorations were similar to that of her old place. In the centre of the room against the wall was a king-sized bed covered in lavender bed sheets. A white- and lavender-coloured fluffy blanket was folded on the edge of the bed covering the base. The bed had six pillows on it; the bigger pillows were covered in lavender, the medium in white and the small oval pillows were grey with lavender-coloured stripes running horizontally. The floor had a lavender-coloured ruffle rug covering the centre with cherry wood floors. The cupboards matched the cherry wood floors that stood out well against the white walls. Zhi Rou had a walk-in bathroom between her cupboards and the cupboards themselves were neatly packed with all her clothes and shoes.

Qing Shan came over to Zhi Rou, and his mouth instantly watered at the smell of the orange and poppy seed muffins that assaulted his nose dangerously. He'd almost forgotten that he needed to report to her. She smiled at him. "You can have as many as you want soon. Let them cool off first." Snapping out of his daze as a honk blared through the complex from outside, Qing Shan said, "Jiang Hui Yin is outside and she wants to see the young master. He already ordered the security guards to not let her in, but she is stubborn and is still outside causing a ruckus." Zhi Rou raised a brow as she chopped up the mangetout and spring onions. Pursing her lips, she mumbled, "Well, it seems like Miss Jiang doesn't have manners. "Have a seat," Zhi Rou said as she went to the kitchen. Qing Shan pulled out a plate and put muffins on it for Fang Liya. A second plate was prepared for Yuan Rui and Huang Yunshen. Fang Liya sat on the couch and watched the two intently. Zhi Rou was taking out the Granadilla muffins from the tray as she started, "The function you'll be organizing is for a wedding that will be held on the 29th of this month. As it is a wedding without much time, you'll need to be quick with the preparations." Fang Liya jotted down everything and thanked Qing Shan, who placed down the muffins and a glass of juice accompanied by a cup of tea. Her eyes followed Qing Shan to the kitchen, who grabbed a tray with the muffins on it and disappeared around the corner. ‘To whom is he taking it to if Mr. Zhao isn't here?’ She pulled out her phone and was about to contact Jiang Hui Yin.
