10: WHO'S SAMANTHA?

“Is she

really beautiful?” asked a woman in a worn-out combat garment and bush green

cape.

The

other she-wolves, who were gathering in gossip, were jolted that somebody

caught them red-handed. However, seeing it was Samantha, all of them hurried

towards her.

All

eyes were hopeful and curious. “Lady Samantha! Everyone knows you’re close with

our Alpha. Tell us, did you see the woman he brought to his palace?” one of

them asked, making the woman raise her brow.

“What?!

He brought a woman to his palace?!” Samantha exclaimed, surprised. Everyone

stepped back, not expecting that she knew nothing about it. Some had their lips

parted, and some looked away.

“Don’t

try to hide from me anymore. Tell me about it,” Samantha commanded, and

everyone turned to her. They were already dying of curiosity after hearing the

news of the beautiful woman carried by the Alpha in his arms toward his palace.
