Unwanted guest

I felt like I couldn't breathe, the wheezing sounds coming from my harsh breathing. I felt that I was flat on my back, Loss's hands pressed on my face as he tried to make sure I didn't choke on my tongue.

But I was hot and Loss was an open flame. I pushed him away, struggling to talk. My tongue felt fat, and lazy, and I wondered if I had bitten down on it. Loss is saying something, but the pounding in my ears shuts him out.

And then suddenly the heat expands to the center of my chest running down to my belly. This calms me, and I begin to breathe slowly, and evenly. My tongue doesn't feel like a giant sponge anymore, and I sit up, the world swaying a bit.

Loss is there again, and he helps me up, careful to not touch me as much in case I freak out again. He tenses up, and I look up at him confused.

Since meeting him, I've never seen Loss get angry. He was calm, and collected, sometimes teasing. But there were flames dancing in his eyes, and his teeth greeted as blac
