Chapter 10: Austin in Hilther Foster Home

The popping sound of bubble wrap, birds tweeting outside of my window, the old and rundown room I was living in. This has been 'the' normal for me. The scenery of people coming in and out of the house, with or without a child in their hands is just a typical day for me to wake up for.

I stretches my body, warming up every joints and muscles in it and forces myself to stand up. It's time for me to fix my bed and out of this room. I jumped out of bed hurriedly.

I don't want to spend another day in that dirty cell just because I have come down late for five minutes.

When I went downstairs one time, with 8:05 am on the clock, I was pinched and put on a dark dirty cell just because I didn't help with the morning chores that day. Isn't that funny? A heavy punishment for a light and small mistake. Ironic.
