Chapter 52
As we made our way down into the kitchen, and I watched him cook us up some food, I couldn't help but think of how defenseless I was. When we travelled here, if whoever was in the trees made it to the vehicle before Kal, I would be dead, and if I was really out wandering around rogue territory at night, I could have died.
"Will you teach me how to fight?" I blurted out and caused him to snap his head in my direction.
He thought about it for a moment, "Moon Rising doesn't train you, do they?"
"No, girls aren't allowed to train," I scoffed and folded my arms as he analyzed my face. He would probably refuse to train me as well, but I could try, I hated feeling like prey and the only way I had to defend myself now was to outrun them.
I rolled my eyes at him as he was taking too long to respond. He walked around the counter and lifted me up to sit on it, looking him more eye to eye.
"Everyone is trained here once their wolf appears around 14." His words

As we walked into the training room Nicholi looked a little worried, while Eathen looked mischievously excited.
