Astraea desperately gasped for air; her chest tight. She felt like drowning – icy black waters swallowing her whole and everything around her fading into the background, into nothingness. Somehow, the cold waters were inviting, comforting, that there was an odd sense of peace as she sank deeper and deeper.

She smiled.
The voice was calling for her – Araceli was calling her. When she reaches the bottom, would she finally see her?
