After sobbing for what seemed like an eternity, Singto stood up to wash his face. As he turned on the sink and cupped his hands to catch the cool water, his mind trailed back to what he has just done. He felt so much hurt and regret that he couldn’t even concentrate on what he was doing. He managed to splash the water onto his face without making a mess, but his eyes felt like they were stinging.
Krist was done taking a shower and was dry enough to leave the bathroom, but he stayed there for a few extra minutes just thinking. Thinking about how he wanted to approach Singto. He didn’t want to leave things the way they were right now. This situation is all just very difficult to handle. Singto doesn’t seem to like to cooperate and Krist isn’t the easiest person to have an intimate conversation with. But, if they don’t at least try and talk things out, for sure nothing good will come out of it.
Their eyes met again. Krist’s gray-blue-eyes that were filled with nothing but rage before was now glowing with passion. Singto could feel how genuine his words were through hi tone and actions that it warmed his heart that was aching so much from regret before. “I worry and care about you because you deserve so much more than you have.&r
Nervously, SIngto set his fork down and clasped his hands together in preparation to speak. “I don’t mind the idea at all. I have spent more than 14 days alone and I’ve managed.” He turned his eyes towards Emmie before saying the next part. “I don’t think there is anything for you to worry about so, I think it will be okay.”Harvey was relieved to hear this and now that he has listened to both of their take on it, his worries have slowly
Singto blurted out. “Okay.” He nodded towards him and turned his body so that it was facing him more. “You know… how you said you have stayed home alone for longer than two weeks?” Krist watched as Singto nodded at him.
The first day felt weird. Singto woke up at half seven in the morning and came downstairs to no one else being there. He almost forgot about Emmie and Harvey leaving to go off to a business trip earlier today. That is, until he saw an envelope with both his and Krist’s names on it placed on the countertops near the sink. He opened it up to see cash as well as a letter inside. Singto set the cash off to the side and read the contents of the letter. To Krist and Singto,
“So, anyway have you had any breakfast yet?” Krist asked carefully as he opened up the fridge. “Uhmm… not yet.”
“My parents were extremely strict.” Singto answered while shaking his head at the thought of his own parents. “They made so many rules and harsh consequences if I failed to meet those rules.” He was surprisingly finding it very easy to talk to Krist about his personal life. “Pretty much everyone that I grew up with was like that though. All my neighbors, classmates, and their parents were the same
“Maybe when I was like thirteen years of age.” Singto answered. This is the exact same age where Singto began to question his sexuality. It is still clear as day. He still remembered staring at one boy in gym class as he changed in the locker room and how he felt a rush when they made any king of physical contact. And at first, he didn’t think that it was anything serious and that feeling would fade, but it only grew stronger. Soon, he started having dreams and fantasizing about the two of them being together. It made him feel so happy and excited, that is, until he went to churc
