3 . Three siblings in the winter .

" Is that Su Ling and her two siblings" . An older woman ask the other old women that sit at the head of the village balcony house .

These old women always takes their free time knitting their cloth while gossiping about the other people in the village .

" Yes , they are where are they going ." One of them known as Mrs Sun ask.

" They must be looking for vegetables to eat ." The wife of the head of the village Mrs Sun said to them . She knew about the hardship of the family .

" Well , just let them be . " The other old woman said .

They knew Su Ling will always went to the mountain looking for foods and something to eat for her family .

" Here . Stop walking . " Su Ling looks around as they reach the foot of the mountain .

" Eldest sister had a secret . I had it after I meet an old woman in my dream. I want to take you to some place but promise eldest sister that you will keep them as a secret. " Su Ling look at her two younger sibling. She knew she can just ask Juju to erase their memories but she thought she will tried to trust these two for now .

" We promise to keep eldest sister's secret ." Both of them talk together as they had always put their trust on their eldest sister .

"Watch and don't say anything okay . If mom and dad ask just said we found the things on the mountain in a cave . " Su Ling remind them .

She then take out the things she had put in few cloths before.

The first cloth had three sets of unbranded and not to new winter's clothes for each of her family including two pairs of shoes and two pack of pampers . There are two sets of sweaters of each of them too . There are also eight pairs of thick socks for children , three pairs socks for baby and six pairs of socks for adults .

The second cloth full with four dried fish meat, three whole chicken meat , two duck's meat , four dried rabbit's meat and few kilogrammes of pig's meat . Four cabbage , four bundles of mustard leaf and twenty large purple brinjals .

The third cloth full with five kilogrammes of rice , five kilogrammes of white flour , half kilogrammes of salt . a kilogramme of sugar . A pack of tea leaves. A pack of baby milk powder, two cans of milk powder for her three siblings few seasonings ingredients and three bottles of soy sauce and two bottles of oyster sauce .

She then takes out the fourth cloth fill with three thick guilts and five pillows. Last she takes out the sixth cloth fill with ten sets of cutlery, ten aluminium plates six rice bowls and three big bowls for soup , seven aluminium glasses , ten clay mug and a tea set . She also put a wok , an iron pot , two medium clay pot and a kettle in the cloth .

She takes out the four cloth Infront of her younger siblings while looking at their faces.

" Eldest sister ... this ... how come ." Su Bin startle while asking Su Ling about what had happened.

" These things were given by the old woman. She said we are too poor and our ancestors fill so sad so they send her to gives us all the things . She will gives me more foods in the future but .... no one should know about this including Ranran and BoBong , mom and dad . I will ask the old woman if I can tell mom and dad in the future but for now we must keep this as a secret or the old woman will take them back ." Su Ling Said seriously to her two younger siblings .

" Eldest sister . I will keep this as a secret ." Vow Su Bin.

" Me too ." Said Su Chi .

" So .. eldest sister will keep them first then we can take them out when we get near to our house so the villagers can't see them or our grandmother will know about them and remember if someone ask just said we just found a few vegetables at the foot at the mountain , nothing else." Su Ling said again as she gives a cloth with few broken cabbage to Su Bin .

" Yes eldest sister , we know ." Both of them answers her as they watch the cloths disappeared one after another.

To make the villagers believe they are looking for foods Su Ling takes out three bowls of meat soup noodles and few grapes . They eat them while waiting until the sky almost lost its light then they walk back to their house .

Indeed on the way back to their house they meet few villagers that asking them what did they found at the foot of the mountain . They also walk to an old house that Su Ling found out from her memory that an old man lives in the house alone . She put a bowl of meat soup noodles .Five kilogrammes of rice , three died chicken meat , a plastics of cooking oil , a plastic of sugar , a small pack of salt , a pack of biscuits , two old sweaters , two thick quilt , a pack of tea leaves, five apples and five oranges , three cabbage and five brinjals, a bottle of hot massage oil , a bottle of medicine for cough and a pair of shoes with two pairs of thick socks . She put the old cloth and the soup infront of the door . After she knosck the door three times she run as quickly as she can to their hiding place while looking at the old house . After she watch the old man takes in the bowl and the cloth , she and her siblings walks back to their house .

Five minutes later ,they almost reach their house . They hide behind a big tree and Su Ling brings out all the four cloth and another small cloth full with grapes , strawberries and ten apples .

Su Ling brings two cloths , Su Bin bring two.cloths while Su Chi bring one cloth .

" Mom!.mom!! They are back !!" Su Ran run as she calls their mother . It seems the mother is worried about them .

" Su Ling , Su Bin , Su Chi ...." Their mother walks out as she cries while calling her three children. She runs to them while Su Ling sees her father walks slowly from the house .

" Where have you children been . Mom was worried ?" Ling Mei looks at her children while she sobs .

" I'm sorry mom , dad . I took them to the mountain to take all the things I found this morning ." Su Ling said softly

" Lingling , you... you are still unwell. Why are you walking around . Get in ,get in ....it's cold outside . " Su Min call his children and wife worriedly .

" Huhu ... get in , get in .... put the things in the living room then go and wash your face , feets and hand . Mom had boiled hot water in the kitchen ."

They put the cloths on floor in the small living room and run to the kitchen .Su Ling foundsnout her mother didn't cook anything maybe because she was worried about them .

After washing themselves . Su Ling and the two children walk back to the living room . She can see Su Mon lay down on the thick quilt she had gave before to Su Ran with Su Bong who slept soundly at the edge of the living room far from the door .

Here mom

" Mom , here .... this cloth are clothes we take from the cave . This cloth full with vegetables, this cloth full with meats and this cloth full with kitchen equipments and this full with fruits . We watch for hours and nobody look for these things . I dreamt an old woman shows me the cave last night . That is why I went to the mountain today and brought few with me this morning. " Su Ling whispers to her mother.

" Lingling , the money .. did you find them in the cave too?" Su Min ask her gently . He as a father never get angry to his children. He always doted on Su Ling more than the others.

" Dad , yes and we also found five thousand yuan and twenty food coupons and ten furniture coupons too and three bars of gold in the cave . They are in the fruits cloth .

Her answers shock Su Min and Ling Mei as the money is much enough for them to eat for few months .
