I Know This Is My Biggest Mistake

Rachel's POV

With limping steps, Alpha Edmon carried me back to the car in my naked state and immediately put on the robe that was in his car.

"We're going home now!" he told me firmly as he started to accelerate.

"Alpha Edmon, I truly feel guilty. I admit that my mistake is fatal!" I said repeatedly, trying to convince Alpha Edmon, who was driving the car.

When the two of us arrived at the Nightfall house pack. I immediately approached Alpha Edmon. He was mostly silent, with a piercing look of money in his eyes.

I could still feel the remnants of anger in him, which he was probably trying to suppress as well.

And again, as usual, Alpha Edmon chose to avoid me, as if he didn't want to be near me.

"Alpha Edmon, I don't want you to act like this. I'm really sorry, Alpha," I said as I followed Alpha Edmon's footsteps towards the house-pack hallway.

He seemed to have decided to go to his office instead of returning directly to our house. I don't know what that means.
