Chapter 2

William's gaze immediately fell upon a woman he had just bumped into and was standing in front of him.  He also looked at all the files that had been prepared for Audrey that were scattered on the floor.  Audrey, who saw her husband, drop the file she had made last night, she immediately walked towards William.

 “William! You've ruined the file I've made for today's presentation. You're a clumsy man! Likewise, you can't be trusted!”  Audrey snapped at the woman standing in front of her.

 Before William could answer his wife's words, the woman he had just bumped into, interrupted his conversation first.

 “I'm sorry madam, I was the one who nudged your husband so that his suitcase fell and caused the entire contents of this suitcase to be scattered on the floor,” said a woman while helping William reorganize Audrey's files.

 “Excuses! Just say you're defending him! Hurry and tidy everything up in thirty seconds! I don't have time to prepare another file!” snapped Audrey as she walked past William and the woman.

 After everything was neatly arranged in the suitcase, William did not forget to say something to the woman who had helped him.

 “Madam, why do you have to lie? Isn't this my fault? Why do you say that this is all your fault? Introduce, my name is William Albert,” William said by introducing himself.

 “Nice to meet you, William, I also know that you are Mrs. Audrey's husband. Just call me Clarissa. I can't bear to have your dignity as a man lowered by an arrogant woman like her! She has no right to look down on a good man like you !”  Clarissa said as she patted William's chest and then walked away from him.

 William just smiled at Clarissa, who had walked away from his sight.  Meanwhile, he immediately rushed to follow in the footsteps of his wife, who was already quite far behind.

 When William entered Audrey's room, there was already Edward making out with his wife without any shame because he had seen her.

 “William, now you gather this file on my desk and put it together with the file you just scattered on the floor. Hurry. We don't have much time anymore. The Albert Company is quite far from here, don't be slow. " Audrey again said harshly to her husband while Edward, who was standing beside her, gave William a sinister smile.

 William only followed his wife's orders while observing Edward's movements if the man had bad intentions for Audrey's company.  But all he kept in his heart because he was afraid that his wife would not believe him.

 After all the files had been neatly arranged, Audrey immediately invited her to go to the Albert company.  Where the company is located is quite far from his company because it is at the end of the city and is located on the coast.

During the trip, William always watched Edward, who was sitting next to his wife, from the rearview mirror.  He thinks that Edward is not sincerely in love with his wife, and he predicts that Edward wants to control Audrey's company.

 After traveling forty-five minutes, Audrey's car finally arrived at the Albert Company's yard.  It was indeed a very broad and big company for William.  Even in his heart, aspires to have a company of that size.

 “William, don't daydream. Come on, now come with me inside to get my suitcase!”  His thoughts were interrupted by Audrey's invitation to bring him a suitcase.  He did not answer his wife's words, but he replied with a nod.

 When walking in the office, William really wanted to have such a big company.  In fact, his gaze did not stop observing in every corner of the room.

 Until finally, his footsteps stopped in a room with a modern door.  Even when he stood in front of the door, it suddenly opened by itself and there was even the sound of someone welcoming him to enter the room because Audrey and Edward had already entered the room first.

 When he entered the office, he immediately stood next to Audrey and Edward.  There are already several people in the room who will also present their performance to be able to work with the company.

 “Okay, please sit down, everyone. We will start with the presentations from your respective companies. According to the rules, the best percentage, that's what I will choose in this collaboration, you understand! One more thing, before that introduce, my name is Joyce Albert.  Owner of this company as well as CEO,” said Joyce with a smile on her lips and while observing everyone present in her room.

 Until finally, he found William who was not sitting and just standing next to Audrey, he immediately walked towards William.

 “Young man, why don't you sit down? Didn't I say sit down?” asked Mr. Joy, looking at the necklace around William's neck.

 “Sorry, sir, I'm just a driver. I feel it's inappropriate to be side by side with those of high rank!”  William answered with his words that touched Mr. Joyce's heart.

 Instantly Mr. Joyce's face turned to pity for William until he finally asked his name to confirm the anxiety he had been wanting to ask.

 “Young man, may I know your name?” asked Mr. Joyce again.

 “My name is William Albert, Sir,” William replied with a sweet smile.

 Mr. Joyce who heard William's words, he felt that right now what was in front of him was his biological son who had been missing for nine years because of a kidnap victim.  His eyes continued to observe the necklace around William's neck because it was the same as the necklace he had bought in Paris.

 In his heart, Mr. Joyce vowed to investigate William's daily life, and he wanted to tell his men to find William's place of residence.  Because for nine years, Mr. Joy has lost track of the kidnapper.

 After awakening from his daydream, Mr. Joyce again said something to William.

 “William Albert, anyone can sit in this chair. You, too, can own a company of this size. I'm sure you must have a dream, right?”  Mr. Joy said while patting William's chest.

 Hearing the words of Mr. Joyce, made William's heart feel calm.  There was even a comfort in his heart.

 Even Mr. Joyce pulled out a chair for him to sit on Audrey's left.  For William, this is a great honor for him because he has always been despised.  Everyone in the room immediately looked at William's body with a smile and was amazed at Mr. Joy, who was so friendly to everyone.

 On the other hand, with Audrey, she doesn't like it when her husband is treated favorably by people of high rank because for him William is still an uneducated and ranked driver.

 After Mr. Joyce returned to his seat to start the presentation, then Audrey approached William's ear.

 “William, you shouldn't be proud of Mr. Joyce's treatment of privileging you. You must be self-aware if you are still a driver. You understand!”  Audrey whispered in William's ear in a harsh tone.

 “Understood, madam,” William replied with a lowered look.

 Meanwhile, Mr. Joyce even though he was starting the presentation, his eyes still did not leave William and intended that when he finished today's presentation, he would start investigating.
