I got up from my desk after he left in such a rush and wore my clothes properly. A small smile crept on my face thinking about what he said but he panicked and left immediately assuming that I would freak out or something. He didn't even wait for me to reply and I was a little worried.

Samantha's POV:"Ouch!" I retracted my hand from the pan immediately as it was still hot. After taking it down from the stove carefully, I tasted my sweet corn soup and sighed in relief. It wasn't that bad. I was running late already and Nate would be here in 10 mins. I removed my apron and rushed towards the balcony with my soup to check if everything else was perfect.
