I had to think of something, someway I could gain the upper hand from Sebastian. So far, he has successfully charmed my mother and charmed my sister, so much you could basically see the hearts in her eyes.

I felt like puking, the way she looked at him.

Then it hit me. The best tactic, the only tactic I could use at this point. The element of surprise.

"Mom, wait! I'm serious. William...he can't make it."

My mother frowned "And why not?"

"He's coming out to L.A. on Saturday and we already have plans set that day."

I could just imagine Paul gaping at my lie.
