Brieanna just had her free breakfast. She decided to wake up early today for it's her big day. She went to the public beach to just look around at people. How could everyone here be so happy? She asked in her mind. Everyone here smiles as if they don't have problems.
When it was around 2:00 PM she decided to go back to her cottage. It's almost time and she had a wonderful lunch and morning so what's there to miss?
She packed up her things in her bag. She decided to wear a plain white cocktail dress today, she put on a shade touch of nude matte lipstick, put on some mascara and comb her hair. No messy buns today, it's her funeral.
Once she was satisfied with how she looked, she went out of her room and put the key on the doorstep. She hop on to her bike and started to drive at the meet up place so she could return the bike.
"Good afternoon lady," the owner of the bike greeted her.
"Good afternoon to you too," she greeted back with a smile.
"I hope you enjoyed the place riding with the bike," the owner said as he loaded the bike on his truck.
"Yeah, I did and thank you," she replied.
"Well, my details are still there. Next time you come back and decides to go motorbiking, don't hesitate to call. Have a great afternoon," the owner said with a grin on his face.
Brieanna just smiled and waved at him. As soon as the owner's truck faded from view, she took out her note pad and pen. Her journey is starting.
She opened her notepad and then saw the things she will be needing. A rope; She knows where she can get one. She's been all over the place so she knows.
After getting a not so thin not thick rope she crossed it out. The next thing she needs is a blade and she went to a specific store. She bought a Titan Heavy duty razor blade with a .020 inch thickness.
After getting it she went out of that shop and crossed it on the list. For the next one, she doesn't need to enter a store for this. She went her way to walk towards that direction, to that quiet place. She marked it on her map.
On her way there she took two big rocks and put it inside her bag. Now her backpack is heavier than before. The next part of the plan is to get there before the sun could set.
William woke up late because he couldn't sleep well last night. He kept thinking about her and the way she gripped on to him last night. She's so fragile yet so broken inside, he thought.
His phone rang and he reached at the side table to get it. Then he sighed as he read the name who was calling. He swiped to answer and brought the phone closer to his ear.
"Where are you?" That familiar angry voice asked.
"Let me guess, you think I'm doing it again huh?" He asked back, calming hisself.
"Where are you, William? You know you're not clean yet! You escaped rehabilitation without being cleaned yet!"
"I know what I'm doing. I'm even trying to get away so I can't hurt anyone. Don't call me anymore if it's not about my sister. I'm doing fine by the way," he replied calmly.
William heard his sister's voice calling out for him on the other line and his eyes widened. No! He can't, he doesn't want to hear her voice so he immediately ended the call while breathing fast. He faced palmed remembering what he did.
Standing up he took a pillow and throw it with force. He's so angry at his self for doing that to his sister. It haunts him everytime he hears her voice. Now he just feels so fucking in distress right now.
He needed some thing to occupy his head before drugs get inside it. And then he remembered Brieanna.
William went outside when it was almost 4:00 in the afternoon. Damn he woke up at 3 something. He went to the front desk.
"Did you see her go?" He asked the receptionist. The receptionist knew what he meant.
"I'm sorry sir, but there were too many guests earlier. I didn't notice," the receptionist answered.
"It's aight," he said and walked away. He went his way to her cottage.
When he was about to knock, he stepped on something. He looked down and saw a key. He frowned and used it to open the door. The inside was clean already.
Did she checked out?
He rushed to the front desk again. "When is she supposed to check out?"
The receptionist typed something then looked at the monitor. "Tomorrow at seven sir."
He frowned as he thought deeper. Why would she leave her key on her doorstep? He rushed to the parking lot and saw her bike was gone. He look at his wristwatch and it was almost sunset.
Maybe she went back to that place? But she said she wasn't going there anymore. What is she up to? As soon as he has no more thoughts he can think of he started running home.

Brieanna went to the other side, where she wouldn't have to swim and get wet anymore. Just down that cliff is the fair enough ocean and in front is the meters away rock which was surrounded by the ocean. On the side was the beach and the house.
The cliff wasn't that high, almost five meters above the water. It's not that high she kept telling herself. She just hopes that the water is deep enough and that there's no rock under that'd cause any broken bone when she lands.
She took out the rope, the blade and then zipped her bag. She tied the rope on her ankle and on to her bag. She already wrapped her IDs and her notepad in a plastic inside her bag too. Written there is her story and her identity so she wants it safe. She then waited for the sun to start setting so she could set too.
Then the time finally came, and she stoop up. She took the blade and cut deep on to her skin one last time. She spread her arms as she feels the wind blew her face, letting go of the blade while on her other arm her blood was dropping.
She brought her heavy bag up as her tears started to fall down. When the sun finally touched the water, it was her time to go. She jumped off without any hesitation and then let go of her bag that sank down immediately. It was tied to her so she sank down as well.
Brieanna just closed her eyes feeling no pain at all. Her tears were floating as she knows no one is going to be there to save her. She finally opened her eyes as she was nine feet under. Her air was running out and her vision was blurry. Slowly... slowly she closed her eyes as she ran out of air.
To the bottom of this sea, she will be safe.
William was still catching his breath as he got home. He looked at where Brieanna always park her rented bike but there's nothing he saw. So he tossed his head up, frustrated that he couldn't find her!Why would she say have a good life if she won't do anything? She could've said good night! He thought. Ugh! Where could she be?William was about to go when at the far side of the next cliff he saw her spreading her arms. It looked like she was feeling the wind on her face. Her hair was being blown. He sighed in relief that he finally saw her alive and standing. He closed his eyes and looked down for a moment to finally catch his breath. The moment he look back at where she's at his eyes widened, she was nowhere. He frowned at her sudden disappearance.
"Here, change your clothes with these for now," William said handing her his big clothes and his boxer. Brieanna took the clothes he handed. She cleared her throat and looked at the side. "Thank you," she said shyly. "We'll get you new clothes tomorrow. More comfortable ones than my old clothes. Also you can change in that room," he said and pointed a room. "My room is in the opposite side. You're staying with me while you're in this island." She couldn't say anything, it's embarrassing that she's going to stay in William's place. "I'm going out to get us food. Don't try to kill yourself. Be good and feel at home." After saying that William left. Brieanna was still wrapped up in
"You sure you're okay wearing that?" William asked Brieanna for the 8th time now. Brieanna rolled her eyes as she closes the car door. "I told you it's fine. You helped me too much." "You help me more," William uttered and started to drive away. Brieanna doesn't know how to act around him anymore. She's quiet shy that she's indebted to him. At some point, she thinks they were destined to meet. How does a stranger save her like they already knew each other? "Do you surf?" He asked all a sudden that snapped Brie from thinking. "Hmm...no, I don't really." "Well, know how to?" He asked again.
At the house Brieanna immediately changed her clothes. She hasn't returned his clothes because she wanted to wash it first before giving it back to him. After changing, she went out and head to the dining table. She sat down facing William who was already eating. She remember what Dianne told her.New girl William brought...She continues to think about it, totally forgetting that William was in front of her."You know you can ask me if it's really that bothering," William uttered, snapping her out of her thoughts.Brieanna blinked thrice and cleared her throat. She took some hotdogs and bread completely disregarding what he uttered.
"So you basically did that?" William asked Brieanna. "Duh," she said and rolled her eyes. "I did so many crazy things but yeah that video just posted online on itself and everyone thinks I'm a slut and that's just fucked up." William chuckled, thinking that there was really more to this girl. He wish he could bring back the Brieanna she was just talking about. They just finished the fifteenth round of the game and now the sun is setting. "So what about you? How come you're living alone?" Brieanna asked. "I'm all grown up. I'm twenty four for Pete's sake," William cooly answered that made her raise a brow and gasped. "You're five years older than me!" She exclaimed. Not in her wi
"Took you long to get some drinks," Brieanna said, eyes narrowed at William. Being all alone and waiting in a crowded place isn't her favorite at all. "Sorry, I was caught on something," he replied, sitting beside her and handing her the water bottle. "You look like you were enjoying the lanterns though." "Yeah, they do look nice. They seem to light up everything in this night market." "I bet it makes your heart melt." Does it? Well it kind of, she thought. She was used to dark places. The ones that she can think clearly while the soft breeze touches her face or the ones that makes her lonely is her favorite. Something like this feels new to her since it has been a while.
It was time to be on her own. Brieanna took a deep breath and blew it out. Yes, she met everyone already and they all seemed nice but it's a job. It all starts nice.As she enters the kitchen again she keeps a nervous smile, nibbling her lower lip as she makes her way to the big sink. She was not alone, she will be closely working with a married woman in her 30s or so, named Veron."It's okay to get all shaky and slow at first," Veron tells her. "I used to think I'll break every plate here. I ended up my first shift with five expensive plates broken."That does not help her at all. If she breaks a costly plate, that is probably going to cost her five days of working. She should be extra careful. And so Veron taught her everything she needed to know. She was also told not to throw every left overs. Veron told her to segregate it, from the foods that should go directly to waste and the meats and rice they can feed stray animals."Wow, the
Dinner was quiet and after it William waited for Brieanna to finish washing the dishes. He already prepared a contract and the rules they needed to abide in his house. When she finally finished, she gaze down the papers as she sits in front of him. "What are these for?" she asked him. "I forgot to give you the work contract and this on my right are the few rules I would like you to follow. Also if there are things you want me to follow you should list it so we can talk about it." Brieanna looked at the contract first, reading it as if she understands. Then she took a glimpse at William and to the pen he prepared. She reached for it and signed the contract. "Didn't take you the exact time to read it," he uttered. "Well if I did, I would still not understand all of it," she told him, putting the the contract and taking the rules. The first rule was not to enter the room that is not yours and never enter nor open t
