Chapter 17: Irritating Cameron

Cameron's POV.

My eyes didn't leave her, I was waiting for her to say something but not a word was coming out, I was about to pull her hands when Cathy's voice came up.

Come on, we can talk about that during lunch, let's go..

"I have to meet up with someone I’ll pass," she said, her facial expressions were like that of one who was not sure, she wanted to sit at the same table with us for the next 20 minutes

"Creamy! We’re not done with this conversation you know that."

"I’m done Cameron," she said coldly before heading in the direction of a girl, she had shown me earlier on her phone as her friend, I am sure that should be Emerald, her supposed new best friend. Eating lunch alone with Cathy felt suffocating, I wasn't able to enjoy my meal, I really don't know the reason but I felt empty again, it's a good thing that the lunch ended fast and right now, I am in with my basketball team.
