Steven's POV
I inserted the card into the keylock of our hotel room in Florida, loving how Marenda's face lighted up as it landed on the sight before her. Our flight landed a few minutes ago and the big grin on her face was a sign that I did the right thing by ditching that interview to be with her.
"Wow!" Her jaw dropped and a hand quickly went over to cover it. "It's so big."
It was a deluxe hotel room, very spacious with access to the best view in the city; I had spared no expense in booking the best for my baby.
"Come see the view babe," Marenda said to me, forehead pressed to the one-way floor to wall glass that covered half of the room.
Wrapping her waist from behind, I sniffed her hair, it smelt nice, just like coconut and vanilla, my new favourite scent. We stayed that way, just watching unsuspecting passersby.
