A few weeks went by and I didn't show up at mom's house, not least because I wanted to avoid actually bumping into Brian. I knew myself and the desire to have him was far greater than anything else, and since I promised that I would respect our relationship as brothers, now I would always make up that I was busy.

Other than that, I had agreed to date Ronan. He was a nice person and deserved, yes, to be loved, I had to try to give myself this chance and forget once and for all everything I had lived with Brian.
