I'd have asked her out of the house. I had every right to do that, she was the other woman. The one bent on making Lucas' life miserable and stubbornly holding on to him. She didn't want to claim him and she definitely didn't want him to live his life that much I was sure of.

My heart bruised against the rib cage when I saw the video of her and Lucas kissing in the club. Maybe she was right afterall, because after the scene she led him out of the main room to a secluded part the video didn't capture.

One thing was peculiar to me, Lucas' demeanor. He didn't look like he was in the right frame of mind when Audrey led him into wherever– I tried not to make a mental image. From what I watched, Lucas staggered a little, but as someone who efficiently handled his own liquor, the shortcoming was obvious. Something was definitely wrong.

Was I mistaken? Perhaps exaggerating my position in Lucas' life? Maybe I was the second woman and Audrey was always meant to be with him. Lucas' expression wh
