"Before we start. Should anyone present know of any reason this couple should not be joined in holy matrimony? Speak now or forever hold your peace." The wedding celebrant speaks.

I plastered my best smile while looking at Mayor Sanchez. He looked at me seriously, and my jaw clenched.

Dammit.

I do hope Nathaniel got my message a minute ago. I need him. I wanted him to stop this wedding as I could no longer do it. I hope the bloody idiot will take over any minute.

Mayor Sanchez then smiled, and my shoulder dropped six feet underground. I shut my eyes and face down. Nathaniel didn't probably get my message.
