Seeing all the wolves that have come to the meeting made Rex shiver as though there was something off about the number of wolves he didn't know, versus the ones he did know. Walking back to his cabin to get the box with the Blood Amulet in it. Makai looked up as Rex entered.
"Rexxy! I thought you would be out sniffing all the wolves, looking for your mate?" he joked with his Alpha."Makai, tread carefully, I may be your friend, but you know my situation. If I don't find my mate within the next few years, my Wolf's Spirit will fade and I will no longer exsist as a wolf." Rex looked down."Hey, Rexy, I didn't mean to offend, only tease. I know you have been distracted by finding your mate, all of us know your struggles. We are behind you whatever your situation." Makai said lightly, using his childhood nickname."Thank you, my friend. I just want to get meeting his highness," Rex said, rolling his eyes,"Out of the way so I can focus on finding that scent." Rex grabbed the gold box and walked out the cabin door towards the Royal's cabins that looked more like mansions than Rex’s log cabin reserved for his pack."Well, time to mix with royalty," he sighed and lifted a hand to knock, but stopped because a movement in the woods just behind the tree line behind the mansion. He sniffed the air slightly, trying to pick up this intruders scent, but couldn't. There was a sweeter scent on the air, one that he hasn't come across in a millennia. His mate.He found the house, now he needs to find the wolf this scent belongs to. Rex forgot all about the intruding scent and knocked on the door, his wolf already knowing there's someone special in there that he must get to.After a few moments, a beautiful dark haired, curvy, shorter woman answerd the door. She had a long purple colored dress on around her neck there was a chain with a purple tear shaped stone on it. He recognized the stone as a Luna Chain. This was the new Royal's Luna. She had no wolf in her at all. This was strange, making a mental note to inform his Betas to investigate this Royal pack a little better."Can I help you?" The Luna asked quietly, big doe eyes searching him for any hint of his Wolf Spirit, finding it disappearing quickly, she looks up at him, eyes full of fear now where the doe eyed look was moments before."My name is Rex, Alpha of the Royal Sakura pack." He bowed and took a few steps back extending out his arm, palm up, to offer her the box with the Blood Amulet inside."This is for your Alpha, an Offering to welcome him into the Packs." Rex smiled."Oh, Thank you, Rex. Please forgive my reaction earlier. You are the only Alpha I don't know much about. Would you like to join my Alpha and I for a proper introduction?" The Luna asked."Why not? My beta can handle things till I return." He ran his fingers through his hair nervously and followed the Luna into the mansion. There was a lot of purple in this house. Curtains, table cloths, and a grand fountain in the reception hall that was littered with amethyst and diamond stones glittering off the water adding dancing lights in with the candles lit around the room."Wow! This house is amazing...its much bigger than my Pack's log cabin across the Grounds. What is your Alpha's name?" Rex asked realizing he hadn't taken the time to learn his name or anything about him.As if reading his mind, a tall, brunette, well built man walked down the stairs. Wearing a black pants, and an open chested white shirt, that buttoned just above his stomach, showing a broad, proud chest, and bare feet. Rex thought this Alpha was something...special, he just couldn't put his paw on it."Welcome, brother Alpha. My name is Tristan, this is my Luna, Anatashi. I am pleased to meet you..." Tristan smiled, obviously wanting the Alpha's name."I'm Rex, Alpha of the Sakura pack. This is for you." Handing over the gold box that he'd been fiddling with ever since the Alpha came in the room."A gift? For what? My birthday isn't until the last day of the Council gathering." Tristan smiled at Rex."It's tradition. When a new Royal Alpha is crowned, the other alphas are to bring a trinket as a sign of welcome, respect, and brotherhood. Rex had a hard time meeting Tristan’s gaze for too long. There is something about this wolf that is starting to feel familiar about this Alpha."Are you afraid to look at me, Alpha? You are of Royal blood too, aren't you?" Rex nodded,"As I understand it, you are the Alpha cursed to live alone forever? That has to be a sad and lonely life? Why do you keep yourself and your pack so hidden?" Tristan asked Rex."I'd rather not dredge up the past. I am not proud of what I did, I went against Nature's balance and Vuk Majka cursed me to walk through eternity without my mate. I cannot die, only my Wolf Spirit feels the pain of loss.” Rex shuddered, thinking about the last thousand years he has spent alone..“I will lose all my Wolf Spirit if I can't find my mate before it disappears. I'll be cursed to walk Gaia as a human. A small, frail, weak human." Rex didn't know why he was opening his heart, spilling out past trauma to this new Alpha, but Tristan was so quiet, attentive, and kind. He found it hard to believe he was an Alpha."There is nothing frail or weak about you, Alpha. Maybe this Council will be the one where you pack comes out of the shadows and live among the packs, the light is here for all of Vuk's Creations, even the Rouges." Tristan rationalized with the other."You are a wise wolf, Alpha. I should take my leave now, my pack will be wondering where I am. Be careful when wandering the Grounds, as there have been reports of Rouge activity and your beautiful Luna will be an attractive target for some glory seeking Rogue trying to make his bones with an easy kill.” Rex warned.“They don't play fair, so you shouldn't either. We had Rogue scouts shadowing us the entire way here." Rex said seriously, bowing, and turning to leave when Tristan grabbed his hand."Thank you for your visit and advice, Alpha. I will take your words under advisement." He shaking Rex’s hand with a wide toothy grin on his face. Rex wrinkled his brow in confusion at the young Alpha, hiding a smile."Good evening, Tristan. If you need any assistance, please send word to my beta, Makai, and he will get me the message." Rex turned and left. That was an interesting turn of events. Rex didn't think he was going to like the new Royal, but Tristan was so real, and had an easy way about him. He hopes his Luna is strong, because the Council is not known for being easy or understanding a softer Alpha, especially knowing Tristan’s father was a tough, old school wolf. He was a big part of the reason the Council had defeated the Rogues in the past conflict by beheading the Rogue Alpha of his generation."Aisha!" Jo thundered around their ‘Pack Shack’ looking for his little actress. Walking into the kitchen Aisha was at the table, sipping coffee. "Sir Alpha. Good morning." She smiled at him. "Was last night successful? Did you meet the Luna, get her scent?" Jo asked, looking like an eager puppy, all he needed now was the tail. "No. That other Sakura Alpha got in the way. I was almost spotted, but the new Royal's Luna is quite distracting. Her scent is strange. I don't think she's even a wolf." She replied, looking concerned. "How could that be? She could have been just hiding her scent and rank from you." He said looking into Aisha's eyes seriously. "If she's not a wolf, this job will be harder to accomplish. I don't know if even I can completely hide my Wolf Spirit in front of a Royal. We have to think of a contingency plan in case our original plan falls through. We might just have to kill the Luna and hope my charms will be enough for him to fall for me and our plan and leave
In the chaos of the Rouge's blitz attack, Rex’s lost sight of the upper tier where Tristan and his Luna were being led to the special seating for the Royal's introduction to the Council and court. All the different Alpha Lines, Alphas, betas, and Lunas stood in line to walk by them, paying them respect and placing an offering to welcome them into the Brotherhood of the Wolf. Rex noticed that there were very few omegas at this meeting. Unfortunately, his wolves were the last pack that would go pay tribute, so they saw and heard everything. First came the smoke, hissing through the court, the gas that hid itself in the smoke started knocking out the younger wolves and lower ranks. It was just enough time for the Rogues to get in close, grab Tristan, and blinked out without a trace of their auras. A flash of silver out of the corner of his eye drew his eyes up to see a slight shimmer in the air before they all disappeared into it, a sword sticking out of his Luna after she jumped in

**Aisha's Dream** "Are you OK, Alpha Tristan? Jo is a little rough, but he is a fair Alpha. Please allow me to be your comfort," Aisha smiled releasing her aura into the air, “Your strength, and your happiness in this time of great sorrow," She cooed and whispered putting her hands on his face, forcing him to meet her eyes. "You are never going to break my will. You little omega. I am of Royal blood. You're not wolf enough to fool my senses. My Luna is dead!" He hissed. My Wolf wants another, craves another. You will never be able to take the place of my mate." Tristan growled, Aisha's aura clearing the room, being overpowered by Royal aura. "STOP! Please? I didn't want to do this, all I want is to be free of Jo’s foolhardy plan to turn you into a Rogue, turn you against the Council, and overthrow the Council." she started. "Why? He has to know my Alpha's Spirit is too strong for him. There's nothing stronger than a Royal line." Tristan asked. "He has two Council members backing
Brody, Seungmin, Aisha, Felix, and IN were in the soldiers den waiting Jo to debrief them. The Rouges were loyal and followed Jo, but they were still rogues. They could think on their own, refuse his orders if they wished to die, and their wolves wanted nothing more than to snap the Astral Chains Jo had placed, forced even, around their necks to make them submit or be released from their human vessel. Until they find out the way to escape their chains, breaking them permanently, they were trapped there, having to do unspeakable things, bad things to sometimes innocent wolves. There will come a time when the Rogues would be truly free to make their own choice if they wanted a pack or not or if they wanted to become true Rogues, as long as they could remain peaceful with the Council and Packs. If they had the numbers, they might be able to overthrow Jo and his two treasonous Council allies. The plan would have to be perfectly laid out and sprung, or it would be a Civil War within the
"I know we have suffered greatly today. What started out as a joyous Gathering to welcome a new Royal Alpha to the Packs, instead, we lost both the Royal and his beautiful Luna in the space of a few seconds.” He paused dramatically, with fake concern. “We have 2 Council members, Lady Kitsune and Lady Jisoo, back at the Grounds, looking everywhere for a trace of the Rouges that attacked us, healing the injured, and burying the dead. I assume that since Alpha Rex has taken the initiative. He and his beta will be the ones in charge of putting a team together to go raid the Rogues and to find out if Tristan is still alive, and can be safely rescued. Is that a problem, Rex?" Sir Chad asked. "No, that's fine. I'll want the Alphas and betas from certain Packs with me as well. Their knowledge and experience will be invaluable on out mission." Rex replied. "Fine. There will be no limits. Take who you need and don't be afraid to come to the Council if you need anything. This takes priority.
Catching up with Kit and Makai, Rex shared with them the information given to him by Hoseok, both sat with shocked expressions. “Have you ever heard of a wolf melding with its human?” Rex asked. “Only once. A long time ago. So far back that I was a cub, his name was Taeyong. I never found out why he needed the meld. Since wolves didn’t care for their humans sides, they pushed them away, deep into the recesses of their mind.” Kit explained. “Sounds like a prison sentence. Wait, you mean any wolf could perform a Blood Oath?” Makai asked, confused, sitting on a fallen tree looking up at the other two. “Don’t get any bright ideas, Makai. For one, Vuk can’t grant any help from inside the Tome. Two, do you know of any ancient texts that still exist to grant you the knowledge to prepare the rituals, find the specific items, or 3, a Goddess willing to alter Vuk’s creation and leave her mark on Creation?” Rex asked his beta. “You know the whole process, you could do it again.” Makai said
"There you are you little whore!" Hyunjin growled from behind her. "DONT TOUCH ME, HYUNJIN!" she phased and bit his arm before he could even blink. "I am going to report to Sir Alpha on the advances that have been made since my time with the Royal. Now back off!" Aisha growled louder. "Hyunjin, is she?" a soft, evil voice came from behind them. Aisha shifted back turning to face the voice. It was Jo, Brody, and Hikaru. "Yes, Sir Alpha. She's done her job. The Royal took the bait, and by the end of this night Royal will be dead. Wolf and human." Hyunjin replied. "Congratulations, mommy. I knew you wouldn't fail me. I planned my brother's attack on you, my sister, Hikaru was my ultimate spy. Your other friends are being handled by Lee, Han, and IN. Felix and Seungmin were too soft for the Rogues anyway. Both their wolves and Spirit skills were too weak to be considered 'inner circle'. Once I saw you sneak into the woods, I knew what you were doing.” Hyunjin pointed a finger at her.
