"Oh my God!" Lizzie exclaimed coming around the corner. "I thought he was going to pull you over his knee right then and there."

"I would have liked to have seen him try," I growled at my computer.

"Don't tempt him, he might come back," Lizzie said sagely as if she'd had it happen before.

"So, what's up I thought all was well with you two?"

I shook my head, "I need coffee. Come with me to the coffee shop."

It wasn't really a coffee shop; it was actually more like an employee lounge, but it served free coffee any way you wanted it. It was one of the many benefits of working in one of the major distributors of coffee grounds and coffee products.

With our coffees in hand, we sat down and drank in silence for a moment. I knew she was waiting for me to figure out what to say. But to be honest I had no idea where to start. Lucky enough Lizzie was being patient letting me soak in my first cup of coffee since she understood how inhuman a person can be until they got the first dose of caffeine
