Chapter 17: babies?

Dr Grace rolled up Lisa's blouse, exposing her flat tummy. Lisa stared at Susan as they both shared a smile. She was nervous but also anticipating meeting her baby, she heard it was a nice sensation but, maybe because she had pictured herself together with Trey when she became pregnant, she had thought she would be going to her checkups with him, and he would bring her all her cravings during that time no matter the time, even at midnight he would bring her whatever she yearned for, but here she is, all alone.

Dr Grace unraveled some tissue paper and tucked it under the elastic band of Lisa's underwear after pulling down her trouser. Dr Grace reached for the tube of ultrasound gel and shook it.

“This will be a little cold, dear,” she notified her, Lisa nodded her head in understanding. Then Dr. Grace squeezed a bit of gel on Lisa's abdomen, she then pressed the probe tool into the gel on Lisa's skin while her eyes stared intently at the screen of the monitor.
