Chapter 6

It was morning, and the beautiful morning twilight was beginning to break in as Samantha was scrubbing hard on the kitchen floorboards. She suddenly heard a strange sound of shatter like someone has broken one of the ceramics in the sitting room.

Hastening to the sitting room to check what was happening, her sight fell on the motionless woman sprawling across the floor. "Lora? Lora!" Samantha called out, rushing in a fit of panic.

Sasha was about to enter through the bathroom door when she heard her Mother's panicking voice falling hard into her ears. A freezing chill ran through her body and her heart rate rapidly shot up.

Wearing only a pink nightgown with a mass of messy hair scattered across her back, Sasha rushed to the sitting room only to find her Mother clutching the body of a young woman whom she hasn't seen before.
